Every Tuesday I go to Feyatteville, a town near where I live, and recieve a lecture on history from Dr. Thaxton, a collage professer, then Mrs. Thaxton teaches my class of @14 students writing and other subjects. That is where I get most of my schoolwork, which I do at home over the rest of the week.

Ah, we thought I might do French on the Potter's School this year... but since we live overseas it would mean weird times, and it might interfere with activities, so we decided against it.

We're using Rosetta Stone this year, after trying a couple other programs. There's a lot of funding for homeschooling families here (Alberta, Canada) and there are five of us (going into grades 11, 8, 6, 3 and 2) all registered so we get quite a bit of it. We're also using a Sonlight program for me. I forget what it's called but it's primarily centered on British literature. I'm really looking forward to it

Rosetta stone... we found it good.
Not the best, but pretty good. Now I'm using a College-level French book called "Le Primier livre (something) La famille Dupont."
For Arabic we used "Your First 100 Words in Arabic," and that was pretty good, but nothing beats doing Arabic with Daddy.

Hi, I haven't been on here in awhile! How's everyone doin? I'm coming up to my first year of homeschooling! My math, science, and history are going to be online along with most of my electives. (that would be everything accept my physical education)
My language arts is going to be studying Tolkien's LotR for the first symester, then studying a series from C.S. Lewis(no idea which one... but not CoN) the second symester!

^ Cool!
Next year I have Apologia Chemistry, Teaching Textbooks Geometry, La Famille Dupont French, Smarr Publishers - Mideival/Early Rennaissance for literature, and my dad's stuff for history and Bible.
And I don't know what I'm doing for Arabic yet.

Oooh, wow... here, I could only do it in the desert or at the country club.
But my gramma has 3 acres of land...
So I'm debating where to get my bow.

Well, I started school today.
I love it so far, geometry has lots of logic, which I didn't know, and I <3 logic, so yeah... Chemistry was okay so far, and everything else was great.
