Man, I can't talk about the nakedness one... but it was soooo funny! I love it when he freaks out and starts sounding completely loony.
Have you seen the one with Him and His Older Brother? He was all saying how his older brother was insane.

I saw the nakedness one, it was really funny. I remember the one where he met his father, that was a very touching episode.
Falling Apples wrote: The one with Monk and the Leper was funny. I love it when he shakes the hand and he washes his hands 100 times and then puts lighter fluid on it,ordering Natitlie to light his hand! OOO! When he becomes a basketball coach was funny! I remember that. It was sort of dark, in the beginning, but it turned out to be very good. Ah, Monk. Only he would ask for lighter fluid on his hand. (Reminds me of the end of the naked episode! Haha...) smeagollum wrote: The one with the basketball coach is really sad, FA. Not winning an award.. ever. But, then, really really sweet at the end. I know! I felt so sad for him. I loved how they made trophies for him, because throughout the entire episode I was thinking: what about all of the cases he's solved? That was important, too. smeagollum wrote: In the last episode, he said 312.. because he got rid of one and was like: only 312 more to go!
I remember that! A phobia of the day...great.

I know he doesn't win an award but he is the best detective ever! That should be a cool award! What do you like is the most bizarre case answer he has done?

The only episode I remember with the brother is the one where Monk had to go to his brother's house because their was a murder next door, and there are all of these newspapers stacked and everything organized.. worse than Monk.
His brother was saying that Monk was "always the daring one." "He went on a date!"

Well there were at least two times, that we saw Ambrose.
I think in a way he is even worse off than Monk, and not just because he doesn't leave his house.
It's also strange to see Adrian so... impatient with him... and abrupt... it's not like him. So I think that makes me feel even more sorry for Ambrose.

Adrian doesn't like him. It might be because Androse just reminds Adrian of his own problems.. or, even simplier, the fact that they are brothers.

Well I wouldn't say he doesn't like him, I just think he annoys him because of this thing he has about their dad, and the fact that they both feel guilty for driving him away. I also think Adrian doesn't feel sympathy for the problems of other people - the epsiode where we learn Sharona has a fear of elephants, clearly shows this - so I think that is another reason why he doesn't really care about Ambrose's problems. He's too wrapped up with his own.

That is very true about Monk not caring about other people's problems.. you can especially see that when Mr. Stollermeigher's wife is in a car accident. He blantatly says that he doesn't know whether he is sad or happy that someone finally understands what he is going through.

Ah, yes I remember that. I also think that was an important storyline because of the way it affected Monk and Stottie's relationship. Because Stottie understood the pain Monk went through everyday, and why it was so important to him to find Trudy's killer.

And wasn't there an episode about him finding a link to Trudy's killer? I don't really remember that one all too well... but I do remember him in the hospital room. He took off the medicine, and then put it back on to represent how he felt and how Trudy would have acted.

Yeah.. that was really sweet.
I don't remember what episodes where in what season. They all kind of run together. But, to answer FA's question...um.. that would depend on what you mean be bizarre.
Like.. weird episode. I can't think of any right now, only a House episode where I didn't understand what in the world was going on.
Like... funny episode. The Leper, When (forget the name) his shrinc decides to end his practice, him and his brother with the murder over pie...

Most over the top was definetly the astronaunt, or the basketball coach.
Wow! You are getting really close to 9000!
