The Village - I can't really sing the praises of this film enough. Completely panned by critics, this poor film needs to be watched by more people than just me and 6 others. Brilliant storytelling, fantastic cast with fantastic performances, there is no reason this film shouldn't be given the chance of the praise it deserves. And Joaquin Phoenix has even been thrown in. *dies*[/color]

ISN'T it just brilliant?! Oh I loved it so much! Basically, you said everything that should be said! *SQUEE* I'm glad I found someone else who loves it as much as me. :D

ANYWAY,
my most recently watched movie isss...
"HOT FUZZ"!
Again.
XD
I just LOOOOVE this movie!! *SQUEE* :notworthy:

EDIT:
Hmm...let's see...
OH yes
"Shaun Of The Dead"! :bounce: GREAT film! VERY loverly and brilliant! I laughed quite a bit! *SQUEE*
Then, "Hot Fuzz" again. I know, I know. I think that's the third time I've watched it. But it's just TOO good! *SQUEEEE*
And then! "Music And Lyrics". *SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*
OI! SUCH an amazing film! I loved it SOO much! It was SO cute and brilliantly done. And Hugh Grant was as brilliant as ever! Quite a chick flick but I thought it was great! Made me very happy! And now I want to go buy the soundtrack! ACK!

Hehe, there are quite a few of us out there *coughKitcough* who love the Village. There is a even a thread for it in this section and a club for all his films. :D

Lady in the Water - I haven't seen this film since it came out in the cinema, so I was pleased to be able to watch it again. I enjoyed it a lot more this time round, mainly because I wasn't as confused as I was first time and if I was I could pause it and figure it out, whereas in the cinema you haven't got that opportunity. It's another example of what a great storyteller M. Night really is and what a great cast he gets together and how everything seems to work.

I really didn't like that movie. I expected this totally awesome, thriller/action/horror movie, and all i got was a girl running around with no pants, some wolves that let grass grow over them, a weird cave in a pool and whatshisface Giamatti. Everyone says that M. Night Shamalyan(sp) makes such great horror type movies, but like Stephen King, he isn't all he's cracked up to be.

The School of Rock... boring. Seen it before. Whatever.

Night at the Museum - I think I'm too easily amused. My favorite bit was "I think he's a weirdy!"

SAW II - SERIOUSLY! If you want to see a REALLY great movie watch the SAW trillogy! It is not only about gore and tortune like nearly everyone says, but it is mostly about moral. You can learn from this movie! You can learn how to appreaciate your life, why you shouldn't take everything for granted and why you should be grateful for the things you have. I can only tell you to watch it.
