I find Liv to be more like Kitty though, admittedly. :p But that's okay.... I can't see Liv being that passionate about something like Joaquin would be.

Yes, actually you could be right there about her being more like Kitty. It must have upset them both when they split; they seemed so close.

Joaquin Phoenix is my prime example of tall, dark and handsome. xD It just doesn't feel right if I use that description with anyone else.

:bounce:

Joaquin Phoenix is....yummeh. And totally ace in Walk The Line and Signs. And in Gladiator, although I didn't like him in that, not that you're supposed to 'cause he's a baddie. :P Plus, Russell Crowe beat him on the hunkiness scale. *Feels dreamy*

*Ahem* Aaaaanyways, I thought he was fabulous in Walk the Line and his voice is amazing. :swoon: I like him more than the original Johnny Cash. :teehee: *Apologises to the late original*

Sooo, can I join please? :) I'm hoping being in more clubs will lure me back to the delights of AU.

Yay! Welcome Este! :D

Ooh, I first saw him in Gladiatir and that's what set me off... I won't comment about Russell Crow.... ;)... let's put it this way, if he hadn't won an Oscar for Gladiator and had for Master and Commander, I would have been a much more happier bunny. :teehee:
[over-rate performance of the decade]

Well I wouldn't go as fas as to say he is better than the Johnny Cash, but he could certainly sell records. I'd love to hear him sing in his own voice though. *dreams*

Thank you dahling!

I think Gladiator was the first film I saw him in, then Walk the Line, then Signs. And mon dieu, you didn't approve of Russell Crowe's performance? *Hugs him protectively* I do think Joaquin was a wicked bag guy though. :P I prefer him as a good guy though.

And I guess maybe he's not better than Johnny Cash, but as I heard him sing JC's songs first, I prefer him. It's a bad habit of mine... :innocent:

Well I saw him in Gladiator, then Signs and then the Village (which you have to see). No, I can't say I thought Russel Crowe was as good as everyone said he was. He was much more better in Master and Commander. Ooh, yes. Commodus is one of my favourite bad gus ever.

Yeah, I'm like that as well. I tend to prefer the version of things I've seen or heard first, whether they are the originals or not.

Lol. I like how Este described him: "Joaquin Phoenix is..... yummeh." xD

I definitely liked him as Johnny Cash and I was never exposed to Johnny Cash before seeing Walk the Line so I definitely giving Joaquin Phoenix some props for converting me. :)

I SERIOUSLY need to break out my Gladiator DVD thing.

I think the film did very for for Johnny Cash music sales. The more people who get to hear him the better. I've been a fan of him for years so..... I have the best of both worlds.

LOL.... Gladiator DVD... thing.... :teehee:

Ok then. So I need to see Village and Master and Commander, since I've seen neither of them.

He is though. :P You just wanna hug him. :teehee:

Yea, absolutely, he was fabulous. And I'd never listened to Johnny Cash before then either. But now I'm in love with the soundtrack.
*Is so not listening to it now*

We should all have a Gladiator fest, watch it at the same time and convo on MSN at the same time or something. :)

I've been on 3 days running now. :D Do I get a gold star sticker?
