Murtagh is a very skilled swordsman. He saves Eragon, Saphira and Brom from the Ra'zac's ambush, and then accompanies Eragon and Saphira on their travels to the Varden after Brom's death. Murtagh is a very brave man, willing to risk his life to rescue Eragon from jail, Son of Morzan; rebelled after the Empire and is now on the run.

Yeah, we all got a little Murtagh-crazed. Not that that's a bad thing. I mean, more people should really love him. He's the best character in Eragon. He's actually got character development, amazing background, not to mention he has a bow and arrow and a sword. _________________ going on a journey through my old claims

What do you think about the whole Murtagh revival thing?
have banners that say "Murtagh shall never die" "The revival of Murtagh fandom" "Murtagh or Bust" and stuff like that!
