well, I think I finally found a song that, to me, seems a lot like the Willabeth story from Will's point of view. It's in Elizabethtown and it's called "It'll All Work Out". It's kind of a bittersweet song.

Aww, I know what you're talking about! I hadn't thought of it as a Willabeth song though, to me it sounds more like a pro-Sparrabeth song. (Sorry, I'm not trying to criticize your choice...you don't have to listen to me. )

well, I was just listening to it again the other day and I guess to me it's a Willabeth song (as I said from Will's POV on Elizabeth going to Jack and everything... and him letting her go if that's what she wants ect). At first I was thinking more of a Norrie POV song on Willabeth but that didn't quite fit.... (Oh, I know you're not! )

Hmm...aw, darn, I'm not a great conversationalist.

Here, since we're talking about this sort of thing in the Aragorn/Arwen thread, I'll just transfer it here: What sort of people do you think Will and Elizabeth would be in our modern world? Would they be "popular" or outcasts?

(I know! I think somewhere I read someone's post that said to them it represented Lizzie's leaving everything in her old life behind.)

If Will were as *ahem* rather hot in the real world as he happens to be in the movie, I think he'd be popular whether he liked it or not. I mean, I don't think his personality is particularly the popular type (though it's not as if I would really know) but I don't think he'd have any lack of girls falling over him

As fro Elizabeth...she's sorta a rebel type...I don't think she'd be *popular* but I think she'd have friends
