I know that the ducklings aren't "offically" there, but the new apprentice feel of House should turn out to be very interestnig.

I also loved the Wilson/House conflict in this episode with Wilson acting like he didn't steal the guitar, when everyone clearly knows that he did.

Could I join? I just started loving House at the end of last school year but now I'm totally hooked.

YAY!!! Of COURSE you can join! House fans UNITE! WOOOOO!!!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, what did everyone think of the Season premiere?!

Basically, I thought it totally rocked. Ha ha ha! That ending TOTALLY threw me for a loop. Wasn't expecting it at all! Good lord. That's insanity. But, in my opinion, very House-writers-ish. :P

And although I miss the ducklings VERY much. Can I just say, that without the ducklings, the extra time for House/Wilson love is SOOO okay?! Ha ha ha! I LOOOOVED the House/Wilson in this episode. I loved their little hostage situations! XD Oh man, those two are amazing. And can I also just say, that Robert Sean Leonard, when given the opportunity, is a BRILLIANT comedian!! Oh god, LOOOVE him! *SQUEEE*

YAY!!!!!!!!

The hostage situation was brilliant! I liked the part when Wilson started reading the paper he had cut letters out of. Very nice....

I can't wait until tonights episode! You don't have to be a genius to know that it'll be great fun watching House mess around with the newbies.

Okay.

First Episode Thoughts:

OMG, I'M IN LOVE WITH JAMES WILSON. THIS SHOW SHOULD BE CALLED WILSON, MD.

Also. Cuddy needs to admit to herself that she is WHIPPED---why can't she stand up to House? ONCE AND FOR ALL.

Second Episode Thoughts:

Hallucinations, brilliant. Wilson = STILL LOVE.
Competitive potential new ducklings competing was cute, and then it got annoying when the one chick was out go get at everyone to make them quit or get fired.

Disappointments:
-The first student who was dismissed was the girl that House had first encountered in the season premiere. I liked her.

-Many, many personality similarities between Foreman & new black kid who's religious.

-Not very much of Foreman (next episode? -crosses fingers-)

-Previews for next episode. House stabs an outlet with a knife after a patient does it? Are you serious? Argh, his character is so MESSED UP. I'm not looking forward to that.

I'm still begrudging this new season.

This episode was weird... him firing people was funny at first, but then it got old. I am still for hopes of Cameron and Chase coming back because they are in the same hospital. [crosses fingers]

Also, I couldn't concentrate on the diagnosis because of the appearances of Chase and Cameron.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE JAMES WILSON TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's pretty much the hottest one EVER!

Ha ha ha ha!

I for one am VERY much enjoying this season so far! I think it's been brilliant the WHOLE TIME!

Although, I agree with you, Kit. That blonde *beep* from hell chick (oops, did I just swear? ;) ) was getting VERY annoying! SHE NEEDS to go. GAH! And I'm actually kind of ticked off that the foreign woman was fired. I thought she was brilliant. But, whatever. I like the old guy, and the plastic surgeon though! Ha ha ha! A plastic surgeon, who would've thought that he'd be useful to a diagnostician?! XD

AS for the ducklings! UBER SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!
This was me when I saw him: :bounce: :swoon: :bounce:
AND THEN, when he answered House's question in surgery.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Chase and Cameron working at the hospital. :)

Next week looks interesting. I can't believe House would go so far...but I think it'll be interesting.

YAY!!

JAMES WILSON IS PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRE LOOOOOOOVE!

Who else was bothered by the "At least Chase is only on step down." implying that Cameron has lowered her potential and is basically being petty.

I mean, I may be bias, but I absolutely love Cameron, but I want her to be better than she is now---unless she expresses a true want to work in ER. I just hope the writers won't abandoned the ducklings' character development.

I agree--I thought they had such great characters when they were House's employees. And I'm not willing to let them go yet.

The cynical side of me says that the writers will have them, or some combination of them and new people, come back because they know that formula works.

I'm guessing Chase and Cameron at this point is playing as back up Wilson figure, someone to support and reprimand House when he does stupid things like.... shoving knives into outlets. [headdesk]

Was the scene with House shoving the knife in the preview or was it just implied?

@Kit: Yeah, I didn't really like the "Chase is only a step down." That was a bit harsh. Even for House. Well, especially for House when directed at Cameron, whom we all know he's in love with. ;) Ha ha ha ha.
BUT, if she chose the ER, because she chose it...I can kind of see it. :P (Did that first bit make sense? XD) Because, she was always that doctor that really cared, and really wanted to help and make a difference. And I think at the ER, she can...because results are usually immediate...whereas with a diagnostician...not so much. Do you see what I'm getting at here? :P

And I also agree that they're probably there as mini-Wilsons. ;) And probably also because we all know the writers couldn't give up the Hamerilson. ;)

@Smeagollum: I think the preview more than implied. But...who knows. I'm sure he did do it. He's insane like that. Ha ha ha! I mean, how many stupid things has he done? ;)

I really hope Cameron's happy though, she more than deserves to be happy at this point.

And you're right Montana. XD Hamerilson with a trailing Chase. And also; who thought that teddy bear with a doctor's coat saying, "Wilson" behind Wilson when House confronted him in his office in the first episode? IT WAS MUY MUY ADORABLE! I want one! And I want one NOW.

Hmmm... the whole shoving a knife in an outlet thing----watch it come out to be like a dream or something. They always pull stupid stuff like that.

I thought the ad for the next episode was kind of ridiculous.

And did anyone else notice the weird dischord in the end of last Tuesday's episode? It ended with Cameron speaking, and the show never ends like that. It normally ends with some song that portrays some sort of meaning, then a few lines that close up, and a final closing shot. I'm not saying that's always true, but usually. And something that about last episode that was weird to me. Idk. :D

I really loved the ending conversation between she and House and it has amazing symbolism as to how lost House is without his ducklings, and how he's trying to shove people away because he couldn't stand another Chase-Foreman-Cameron scenario and they're left him.

But, we think the case ends by Greta's dream being crushed because House sent an info letter to NASA and it's revealed by Cameron that he didn't send it, and Cameron figures it all out: He couldn't kill her dream. And I think it's a great conversation between them because Cameron's always dreamed and chased after House, and he's not a big dream-killer, is there hope? Has Cameron decided to move on?

I don't know, something about that whole conversation bothered me. Well, it might be that I was frustrated that of the three, he had to talk to Cameron (who I am not a huge fan of, by the way).

The writing there was great, but I wasn't moved by it at all. I don't know why, really.
