Batman - I think it shows how obsessed I am with villains, when you watch a superhero film and you want the hero to die. :P I remember really liking the TV show Batman, but I think this film is a little bit too cheesy for my taste, and Adam West and Burt Ward as Batman are Robin are a bit too over-the-top. Having said that... the Joker, the Riddler, the Penguin and Catwoman, are so over-the-top but it's so much fun. :teehee: I really wanted them to smoosh B&R to smithereens, but alas they failed. They made me smile numerous times, so it was worth watching. ;)

I finally watched The Princess Bride the other day...... although some of the scenes looked vaguely familiar so I think I have seen it before. Either way it was still a pretty fun movie. :P

Watched Beck: I Guds Namn two days ago with the wee brother. It's the final and 24th installment of the Swedish crime scene investigation franchize. All the Beck films are fantastic, this one was no exception!

^yaaay! :bounce: :P The Princess Bride is one of those movies you have to watch at least once in your lifetime, it's just cool like that. :D (And then if you're truly dedicated, you'll walk around quoting it like I do with a friend of mine. :teehee:)

Anyway, I watched more of Hamlet in school today. Poor Ophelia. At least she died happy, like my friend Devon said. :P

OH my god! The Princess Bride! :notworthy:

I LOOOOOVE that movie! Watch it on a regular basis, sort of. :P And that's really crazy that you just watched it, because I'm talking to my friend about it right now! XD And how much I love that song at the end, "Storybook Love." XD AWWW!!

"Wuuuv, Twruuu Wuuuuuuuv, is what gwavers us here twoday!"

XD XD XD

ANYWAY, "Alex & Emma" is what I believe it's called. :P Aww, I love Luke Wilson. XD And although I needed sleep, I stayed up to watch it because it was just one of those nights that I needed to watch a cute chick flick that made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. ;) :P

today i watched waiting for godot, not i, rough for theatre 1, and ohio impromptu (the four films that make up volume 1 of the beckett on film collection). i thought they were all fantastic, but ohio impromptu was my favourite - jeremy irons' performance was absolutely spellbinding, and it was beautifully poignant. samuel beckett really was a truly remarkable playwright - one of my favourites. volume 2 tomorrow...

^ Oh, god I haven't seen that film in years, and I really want to watch it again!

"The pellet with the poison is in the vessel with the pestle, the chalice with the palace has the brew that is true"

"But no! We broke the chalice with the palace! The pellet with poison is in the vesell with the pestle, the flagon with the dragon has the brew that is true"

 I ♥ Danny Kaye, I really do. :P

RATATOUILLE! - OMG, I can't tell you how much I wanted to watch this film, and finally it came out in the UK today!! *bouncey wouncey* :bounce: Oh, it was as good as I wanted it to be and much, much more. *squee* It made me all warm and squishy inside. Why is there no thread for one of the best animated films out there from the masters of animated films, Pixar? :-o

And I wants a Remy precious. :D

Disturbia - it was positivly one of THE BEST thriller/horror films I've seen in a very very long time! It was awesome! :-D If you're in the mood for an on-the-edge-of-your-seat movie I would totally recommend this one!
