Disturbia - it was positivly one of THE BEST thriller/horror films I've seen in a very very long time! It was awesome! :-D If you're in the mood for an on-the-edge-of-your-seat movie I would totally recommend this one!

^Ooo, I loved that movie too! I saw it quite a while ago when it first came out. I should watch it again...

Anyways... The last movie I watched was "The 400 Blows", an obscure French film made in the 50's. I watched it in film class at school... It was quite depressing.

Gotta see the Cowboy Bebop movie!

But please tell me there's no Julia! [doesn't like Julia]

Anyways----hmm, the last movie I saw...

The Princess of Thieves starring Keira Knightley (skippable)
and Ned Kelly (rather depressing and graphic).

The Dresser - This is such a wonderful film. It's funny, bittersweet and sometimes heartbreakingly sad. I love the sort of films that tell a story and have characters and settings that are so believable, you feel like you're watching real people and not just actors. Albert Finney and Tom Courtney are perfect in their roles, and you like them both equally, pity them both equally, and feel desperately sad for them both equally. Which I think, for this film, is how it should be, and compliments them both, on not upstaging one or the other.

Ha ha ha ha. I LOVED that movie! I thought it was really well done. I've read some books and done some research on Ned Kelly....and thought they did him justice. :P And the ending just brought me to tears.

Last movie I watched was "Gladiator". Ooooh. GOOD movie. :P Joaquin = XD Very sad when he died. *curses Maximus* XD

V For Vendetta: Lovely as always. Hugo Weaving *squee*

Transofrmers: OMG! On of the best movies ever! I went in not expecting mush and came out pleasantly suprised. of course, the first thought in my head when we got in the car was "I wonder what the Civic Hybrid would look like as a Transformer..." My faves are definately IronHide and Bumblebee. So buying the DVD when it comes out tomorrow.

last night i watched dear frankie, and today i watched footfalls, come and go, act without words and butch cassidy and the sundance kid (the first three are all really short, hence so many in a day). i would write my usual mini-reviews for them all, but i'm afraid i'm too tired at the moment.

Watched the BBC mini-series The Virgin Queen [2005] (with Anne-Marie Duff as Elizabeth) today. It was very good and entertaining despite being four hours long. I have no idea how historically accurate it was though.

Hans Matheson was lovely and delicious as usual :)

Sleepy Hollow - gee, I still love that overly dark, JD, Halloween-y movie! :P It's so weird because that's like the only Halloween-like movie I really like (even with it's fake blood and many decapitations :P) Johnny was great in it! lol

The Phantom of the Opera - ohmygoodness! :swoon: LOVE that movie! It had been forever since I last saw it and I had forgotten how good it was! The music is beautiful and simply stunning and the acting is amazing (not to mention it's a good story :))!
