Welcome Orc Killer!
It's good to have you here! I'm myself kind of a newbie in the Ringerworld. I'm a fan since December last year. Hm.. now I come to think of it.. that's already 10 months ago..!
Anyway, welcome to the forum! If you want to learn things I can only say: read, read, read.. and join our discussions! I've learned many things here myself.
Cuilwen
PS: izzatee, you story reminds me of myself watching FotR for the first time..

Hey, I'm new. The names Naurdil (if my elvish is correct, that means lover of fire. Muahahahah! But don't worry. I havn't learned how to make other peoples computers spout fire. Yet ) And the Rochnur means horse lover. But, you can call me Pepin, Pippin, Minimus, pyro, hey you. (all these are used as terms of endearment by my friends) any thing works. Any way, I joined this forum thing because I desperatly need some people too talk to about LOTR. I have areally awesome friend, and we talk about it all the time (Once we had a party, just the too of us, where, intoxicated on caffiene, chocolate, pringles, and the fact that we are 15 year old teenage girls, we watched all three LOTR extended addition. It took 12 hours. From seven at night, until 7 in the morning) Okay, back to the subject. I need more than one person to talk about it. And I have bee nsearching for a sight where you can talk about the books and the movies. Which by the way, I am a big bookie. I am still fuming about what peter J. did to faramir. But I will stop my fuming befor it gets out of hand and I write a novel. And this sight also has a thig for language, wich I think is raelly cool. I have what I call, my little red book of awesomeness. It has lots of language stuff of LOTR in it, but it says it is a complete vocab thing, but I keep seeing things that uses vocab that is not in the book, so it makes me wonder what is ligidimate. Wow, big vocab word. Did I spell it right? Well, any way, I hope you will accept me and the utter chaos that follows. And if you read this whole post, I congradulate you. I also can't spell, but what I miss spell sounds like what I'm trying to say, so bear with me.

Very interesting name; you clearly have a love for language like a lot of other Tolkien fans.
Quote: Any way, I joined this forum thing because I desperatly need some people too talk to about LOTR. Exactly why I came - I definately think that you'll find that here Quote: I have areally awesome friend, and we talk about it all the time (Once we had a party, just the too of us, where, intoxicated on caffiene, chocolate, pringles, and the fact that we are 15 year old teenage girls, we watched all three LOTR extended addition. You read it all! You get a gold star. Well, not literally. Since i don't know where you live, and it would be highly creepy if I asked for your address. But if i could, I would give one to you. Would you settle for a smiley with a lightsabre? :lightsabre: I do like languages, and it would be awesome to be a linguist, but unfortunatly I am not particularly good at learning languages. I have made some progress in my elvish over the summer though. Don't want to learn it during the school year. Might interfere with my Latin. Say, do you know if any thing in middle earth has the word sylvan? Because I was latin learning, and that word came up, and I was sure it was in LOTR somewhere about some elves or what not. Maybe it was just my mind turning into mush from school.

Hi, and welcome to A-U! Here you will find a lot of people who are obsessed with LOTR... so I'm sure you'll fit in fine! I've wanted to sit down and watch all 3 EE in a row, but I have to live with these things called parents *shakes head* it's so cool that you did that, though!
I hope to see you about!

Greetings and to the forum Naurdil Rochnur. I'm Elenriel or Elen for short. It's nice to meet you. I'm glad you decided to join. Wow, you must have had fun watching a LOTR marathon. I've always wanted to try that, but sadly I haven’t seemed to have the time to.
I'm sure you'll have a great time here as we have a lot of book/movie discussions going on. Anyway, have fun and I'll see you around.

Sorry I'm hopeless with languages so I'm not much help but I do remember the word sylvan coming up somewhere I'm not sure though...
