This series is intense. I'm getting grey hairs from all of this!

When Ichiro hit the in-the-park homerun at the All-Stars Game, that was pretty exciting.

Tomorrow night's game ---- I do have a feeling that the Indians will lose, particularly because Jake Westbrook does not pitch nearly as well as he does at home. [sighs] I just want my boys to win, because they've deserved it so much. I can't help but feel the Red Sox don't embody the right ideals as a professional team. I must say that Schilling did an excellent job pitching tonight!

One grievance about Game 6. Umpire in the 1st inning calling all those balls. We all knew that half of the balls called were really strikes. Carmona knew it, Martinez knew it (hence the heated argument that Garko had to break up), Wedge knew it, and even Willis knew it (expressed through Wedge).

In situations like those, I feel sorry for Carmona since he doesn't speak fluent English, he constantly needs a spanish translator for press conferences and I mean, what can you say? What can you express about how you're feeling about unfair calls? It must be frustrating.

If we had cable, I'd have to get up in the middle of the night, probably anyway, but we don't even have cable, and I dunno if we could get it here anyway, though people do watch the Superbowl at 3 am.

Well, Superbowl's pretty big.


Can't say the result was surprising. I knew the Indians would lose once we were away from home, but there'll be next year and hopefully we can get all the right calls and all the right opportunities to make it to the World Series. I'll still love my boys, maybe not Joel Skinner, but definitely my boys. I'm gonna miss Betancourt though. I can't believe I can't see Betancourt until next season.
