I just watched 'Hocus Pocus' - I used to love that movie as a child, though not as much as 'the Dark Crystal', which I took out of the library practically every month. XD

^^AWWW. Me loves that movie! *siiiiigh*

Well, I just happened to catch "Sense And Sensibility" on TCM. Even though I OWN it...:P

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. I am SUCH a hopeless romantic. *SQUEEEEEEEEEE* Ha ha ha ha. And you know what....I think I know WHY Marianne fell in love with Cololnel Brandon. It wasn't the fact that he saved her life or was handsome or anything. It was Alan Rickman's VOICE. XD GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. I'd give ANYTHING for him to sit next to me and just READ to me. :swoon:

Ha ha ha ha.

The Last Samurai- Gosh, I love this movie! It is one of my favorites. Tom is so good (and hot!) in it! :P

The Sixth Sense- I've already seen this, but my brother and his friend were watching it so I decided to join them. I love movie nights!

*dreamy sigh* What a wonderful thing to think about at 6 in the morning before I go to bed..... *drools uncontrollably*

Bad Day At Black Rock - It had been quite a while since I saw this film and I had forgotten how tense it was for a wartime-western-drama. And one-armed Spencer Tracy demolishing Ernest Borgnine with the karate chop?! :swoon: That is just one of the best scenes in any film ever. Yay for Spencer Tracy! *waves flag*

Star Wars: A New Hope - After going to a SW convention, I felt ready to completely and utterly fall back into my SW obsessiveness. I knew I was seriously forgetting how good the films were when I was stunned to find Han Solo so handsome and completely and utterly loaded with the best lines. :-o Shame on me!! And as I refuse to watch any messed up DVD's of the 1997 version, I am still using my old videos... may they serve me until they fall apart (or Lucas gets his act together and released the 1997 versions as they were orignially meant to be).

On The Town - I have seen this before, and either I was just feeling in the mood to watch a musical, or I wasn't in a good mood when I last saw it, but this time I really loved it. The songs were great, and the cast were brilliant as well. It was especially great to see Frank Sinatra in a light comdey role. As with any Gene Kelly musical though, the "surreal" dance number, which are basically massive, bare sets were Kelly dances (usually on the pretence of it being a dream or a stage show) for 10 minutes, was not to my taste, and ruined it for me slightly. But even so, I enjoyed it, and I am now looking to own the DVD.

Sleepy Hollow - The perfect film to watch on Halloween, one my own, with the lights off and rotting my teeth on a toffee apple. I finished it at about 5.30 am. :D This is still my favourite Tim Burton/Johnny Depp film. I just love the old Universal horror film feel to it, with the grimness and the constant fog and the spookyness. And Johnny is just a gem in this, he really is. :D And it is so funny in places, you can't feel scared. The gore was funny as well. :P In a gory way. I rewound quite a few decapitations....man, the special effects team were good, I couldn't see where the real head was swapped for computer. :teehee:

What a WONDERFUL way to go to bed! *siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh* He's just SOOOOOOOOO amazing. :P

DUDE. YOU. WENT. TO. A. SW. CONVENTION?!!! :swoon:

I am officially the most jealous person right now. I would sell my soul basically to go to one of those. XD I'll never forget when I saw the ORIGINAL Star Wars on the BIG SCREEN! Yeah. The freakin' big screen. :P Noooo, I'm not THAT old. ;) There was a re-release thing....and my dad took me. Changed my life. I have since idolized Obi Wan, Yoda and Luke. :P

ANYway....I just watched "Arsenic & Old Lace". It's a Halloween tradition I started a few years ago. :P Cary Grant PWNS ALL! I usually watch "Wait Until Dark" as well, but I don't own it....and I didn't have time to go rent it. *tear* But this movie is HANDS down my favourite Cary Grant film! :P SOOO brilliant!

*high fives* You're the second person ever to agree with me about Klaus. And you're right about Olaf too, actually. :P

YAY!!! I love that movie!! :D

Aaaanyway...

Meet the Robinsons - OHMYGOSH time-travel-integrated-plotline-sci-fi!!! :swoon: Er, yes, I rather like it, if you couldn't tell. :P

Spider-Man 3 - I think it's brilliant, I really don't see why two of my friends trashed it. Although Peter was more of a loser in this one, but I got over it.
