Hmmm, I didn't get very emotional with the guy in the wheelchair, I don't know.... maybe it was because of the House vs. Afterlife argument that got to me, that it I just spent my time thinking about House's jerkface self and not the theme of what the patient was believing in.

I miss the pretty boy comments quite honestly. I never really paid attention much to Chase before, so I don't know. I think I may like him as almost like a recurring character. I think I like Cameron more like that as well. They're like mini Wilsons. ^^

Kit, I know what you mean about emotional investment this season. I think part of it is the whole "pick a new team" thing. It's drawing the focus of the show away from the cases and onto the "Who's going to stay" speculation. I'm hoping that after we actually have a team it will settle down. There were some really great emotional moments last season, I thought (I'm thinking Fetal Position in particular, or Lines in the Sand, both of which I thought were fantastic episodes) so I think we could get some good moments later on, but right now the writers are just so stuck on the reality tv concept. I'd like an episode where it really focuses on the patient. Maybe this next one will be that since House won't be at the hospital.

Hopefully we'll get some emotional impact of patients with the in the running ducklings now that House will be gone out of the hospital, doesn't mean he won't wreak havoc though, Failure to Communicate much?


House won't be at the hospital because he's got to go on some case for the government or whatever to cure one of their injured agents.


Hopefully we can see some Chase and Cameron though from the hospital. I know Foreman will be running the show with the in the running duckies. Maybe Cameron can help him? =D I just want to see Cameron all doctory and in her vest again instead of those crazy pink scrubs.

Haha, I already know that Chase won't be helping Foreman, because they don't even like each other. How sad. I have a feeling there will be very little Chase-ing in this episode.

Well, I always seem to be the odd-man out here in this club. XD First with Honey, who basically is the coolest ever.
But I've found some emotional investment in this season. I can't exactly explain it....maybe House didn't. But I did. The fact that the guy in the wheelchair's and his dog's death brought me to tears is proof enough. Ha ha ha ha. I dunno...I can't explain it...but yeah. I've PERSONALLY found myself to be emotionally involved. And I think at least 13 has been.

But, I think you're right. With House out of the hospital for this one, there will hopefully be more impact on the new ducklings from the patients. Hopefully the ruthless *beep* doctor will screw up so obviously that she'll be fired and then have emotional psychological problems for the rest of her life. I'm so nice.
I can see how the "reality" spin on the show right now has had an impact on the normal emotional level of the show. And hopefully, since House has "chosen," there will be no more of that interferring.

And Kit, I TOO miss Cameron's vests!! XD I don't mind her in her scrubs, but seriously...MISS THE VEST!!! She was TOTALLY hot in that. And I can't believe I just said that....because I am in fact a heterosexual woman...

I too, also hope for more Chase/Cameron in this upcoming episode. And MAYBE LOTS more Wilson. Because honestly, we need Wilson to step into his "authoritative" figure.

Okay, it was a -really- good episode up until the ending where the chick from CIA came and was all like, "I'll take that job offer, kthnx." It just seemed out of the blue and I just didn't like it seeing as though he had a team competing for a position already. Foreman's hired, so if House is theoretically only going to hire about three or four, that makes the position openings down to one or two. So who's the two you think will be finalized?

Or perhaps they're just jerking us and have House end up hiring other people and not the potential ducklingers. Which if that happened, and if they don't hire at least ONE of those ducklingers, I would be -very- mad at the writers, because when does Dr. CIA > potential ducklingers? Seriously, just because she's hot? Just because she takes all the sex jokes? Argh, annoys me.

Anyways.

The good of the episode.

The CAMERON-FOREMAN-CHASE! =D [happy]
I didn't expect Cameron and Foreman to have a go and I was actually kind of mad at Cameron for getting in the middle of it but I understood with the scene at the end where Cameron confronts / comforts Foreman after the case. That was a great scene and I'm still totally shipping Cameron / Foreman friendship-brothersister.

The scene with Cameron/Chase was cute. "Now that was mature." And that adorable look from Cameron. xD C'mon, it's her boyfriend, she's allowed to be silly and immature.

Omg, House at the semi-end, I loved. xD He was like, "That's why I'm not going to fire you. You're going to quit."

I really thought that was like...-really- bad. Making the patient fake polio. That was -really- bad. Bad bad bad bad bad bad. He had me fooled!

And then, "I'm just letting him get as far as he can before Foreman calls the cops on him." And then he was all like, "Who did I say was in charge? [ducklingers point to Foreman] Right. There's a reason why he's the one in charge."

FOREMAN<3! xD House was like, "Good boy, Foreman."


I kind of saw the whole "OMG WE HAVE TO KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT HIS MISSION DUH YOU STUPID SOB." coming with the CIA assassination attempt victim. Didn't expect it to be horse chestnuts or whatever.

Okay, has anyone seen "Love Actually"? Because there's a seen where one of the characters does this *SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE* moment. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, then they know what I looked like when Wilson was on. AND when there was Cameron/Foreman/Chase scenes.

Basically, cool episode.

This episode proved THIS: That the new ducklings, and even Foreman, flail blindly without House. Basically, they suck. XD Ha ha ha ha. I'm REALLY sad that Brennan is gone. I KNOW that what he did was wrong, but since the last episode, I've thought he was pretty cool. *sigh* All the god damn good doctors are going bye bye. *tear*
