Tbh, I didn't like The Golden Compass at all. Besides his very anti-Christian views (which were rather evident to me, being a Christian) which he was pretty much building a story around, I didn't think it was very well written.

Anyways, I'm reading The Return of the King right now. And that's it. Once I'm done that, I'm going to read either The Silmarillion or A Wizard of Earthsea.

And I'm supposed to be reading Mansfield Park, but I'm not. :P

I'm currently reading Atonement by Ian McEwan. I've watched the movie with Keira about 2 weeks ago, and I just liked it. At the moment I prefer movies and books with a 'bad' ending that makes someone think, and so when I saw the english book, not german, nope, I just like the original versions, in a bookshop, I just... HAD to buy it! well, I'm already half way through now.

Lol. The problem is that it's anti-Christian, whereas I am a Christian--it's my personal reason for not liking it. I didn't mean for it to come across as one that applies to everyone.

*high fives* He is awesome! This guy really has a gift with descriptions. Um, Fell should be out already...I read it and it's actually better than The Sight, I thought. Which really doesn't say much because I don't like that one much because it ended in a more depressing way than I would have liked, but still. Fell focuses more on humans though, so be prepared, but it's still excellent.

I'm currently reading a book called Tinker by Wen Spencer. It's really random and kind of strange, but absolutely hilarious. :P
