You do have to see Unbreakable! It wasn't my favorite of his films, but I still thought it was pretty good. You should see it, then we can post 6 pages discussing it. lol

Lady in the Water made me jump the most out of all M. Night's films I've seen, but it also had more humor. Some of the people in The Cove made me laugh- Reggie and the group of smokers especially. "Don't exercise in the stairway, Reggie... somebody might trip."

I kind of wish we could spend more time discussing Signs, but that never falls through. :p

I will see Unbreakable, eventually. xD

The characters of Lady in the Water---they were fantabulous and I love how they play a part in everything.

Well, I'm sure we'll come back around to Signs sooner of later. lol You know what might be cool, sometimes we could set up an M. Night movie viewing party... or something like that. Like the LotR viewing parties we've had- everyone who's participating meets in a chatroom or instant messenger, watch a movie, and talk about it while they watch.

I thought the characters were great too! I love that they're "normal." Cleveland is a normal guy with a normal job who ends up in this crazy situation. He's not some young, handsome man with a BMW and blinding white teeth. lol

Cleveland Heap is fantastic, I absolutely fell in love with him---so adorable. I thought Bryce was excellent as well, she felt very fantastical.

*bumpeths the club* I watched The Sixth Sense! I knew the ending already, but I was still blown away, just by the filmmaking and acting. I didn't quite get all the red, though. Was it just in there, to be there, or did somebody pick up a different meaning from it?

All the red? I don't remember any prominent red in the film.... Hmmm, trying to remember....

Well, anyways----I finally saw Unbreakable, and this thread needs a well-deserved bump (sorry for not getting back to you sooner, Elenya!).

SPOILERS for UNBREAKABLE
It wasn't the best film I've seen of his, but I still enjoyed it. Audrey's and David's characterizations made me sad and I am newly formed David/Audrey shipper. The scene where Joseph (the son?) intended to shoot David to prove that he was invincible was really intense. Although, they never proved that he could not be killed yes? It's either health or death? He cannot be injured in any way?

I liked Unbreakable, too. It's probably my least favorite of M. Night's films, but "least favorite" is relative. lol
That was an intense scene!

****Spoiler warnings for Unbreakable! lol*****

I'm not sure if David can be injured in most ways, or if water is the only way. It's been awhile since I've seen the movie, but I remember he said something about the only time he could remember being injured was when he nearly drowned.
On another note, I loved the scene where David carries Audrey upstairs- it was so beautiful!

***spoilers end***

It's been a little while since I've seen Sixth Sense, too, but I do remember noticing the red. Maybe it was just me trying to make something out of it. lol I remember Cole's tent was red, his mom had red nails and wore a red sweater towards the end... uh, can't remember any other specifics right now, but I remember all the red jumped out at me when I watched it. lol Oh- the red doorknob, too.

I definitely have to go back to see Sixth Sense... hmmm..

I think it's been a year or two since I've seen it.

SPOILERS for UNBREAKABLE
Oh that scene was beautiful and when finally he lays her on the bed and climbs in next to her and says, "I had a nightmare." Oh my heart broke and then when Audrey said, "It's all over now." I bawled.

But I have to say that ending, I did not see coming. And I absolutely love the parallel with the comic books. And just wow. Samuel L. Jackson is a very talented man. The scene where David goes to check out the home that was broken into by the convict was so nauseating.

Also, sometimes the music got to me.

*****More spoilers for Unbreakable!******

I actually felt kind of sorry for Samuel L. Jackson's character, at leas until the end. I like the comic book-ish-ness, too.
I really liked the music in the "go where there are people" part. Something about it, I just liked it! lol
