@Kit: Ha ha ha ha! Isn't it though? Ea is the best with coming up with nicknames!
And you know, the only reason I've considered seeing The Nativity Story is because of Siddig! XD I know he doesn't have many scenes, but maybe I'll have to check it out. Especially after this discussion you are having about it. Mwa ha ha ha ha! Hurray for Siddig! :D:D:D
@Ea: EMBRACE romanticism man. You just have to embrace it. XD Even if it is hopless romanticism. And Ethelfleda is right, Clueless is based on Emma. Although in an odd, perverted way at the end. I never understood the whole... almost-incest thing. :P
And I didn't know James McAvoy was in Becoming Jane!! *le gasp* Now I MUST see it. I agree with you Ethelfleda, James is a brilliant actor. He is SO talented. I have a feeling he's gonna go far.

Elizabethtown - I didn't watch the whole thing but I caught most of it when it was on tv today. I love that movie!

Ballet Shoes
The one with Emma Watson. It was interesting, a paleontologist/museum owner brings home babies... how odd. But it was cute.
just watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the J.D/T.B collab. Can't wait to see Christopher Lee!

Ok before we go further, I just have to say...James McAvoy was incredible in Last King in Scotland. Like in Narnia, he played a semi-minor role so I kind of ignored him a bit. But then I saw that movie, and I thought..this guy is amazing.

Awww. I caught the last half-hour of that on the hotel TV day after Christmas. My little brother even liked it, I think...haha.
Saw The Water Horse earlier today with my mom...it was an interesting take on Nessie and the whole legend. Crusoe is adorable! And I <3 Scottish accents now.

The Stepford Wives ----- it wasn't as good as I had hoped, but it was nonetheless VERY amusing and Nicole Kidman did such a wonderful job.

"Paper Moon".
This movie, will always be in my top 5 favourite films of all time. Something just SO classic about it. I could watch it all the time --- wait --- I do. XD Well, not ALL the time. It's one of the few films that have my least favourite character saying one of the funniest lines.
I think Ryan and Tatum O'Neal give a FANTASTIC performance.
I recommend it to ALL.

the little girl who plays the young mary (in the flashback to when she's about three and is crying in a field) looks exactly like my sister did at that age. it's really freaky.
it's not a film, but the last dvd i watched was alan carr's stand-up.

National Treasure: Book of Secrets - again. Haha, I love this movie.
National Treasure - Riley AND Sean Bean...it's a win-win.

Just watched Casino Royale for the first time. I have to say that Daniel Craig was great as Bond. The end caught me completely off balance though... never expected Vesper to die. It's actually quite sad what happened. ;(

I liked Casino Royale for it's non-resemblance to the other James Bond movies. I loved Vesper... she was a lot more believable than other Bond girls...
Why thank you, but MoBo is so strikingly obvious!
Aye, yes, I agree. James Faun McAvoy is good-looking, cute and a great actor who did a brilliant job in The Last King of Scotland, absolutely... I just can never ever see him in any movie without thinking of a faun in Narnia...
Still can't believe Clueless is based on Emma, now I really need to watch Emma asap... but not because I'm a romantic... I can't admit to be a romantic...will ruin my reputation...
*steals away to the revived Jane Austen club to lurk*
