Aye! *Throws confetti for PD*

Hmm... possibly, but I know Keira did Coco Mademoiselle - maybe Nicole Kidman did it too? But I think she was in some other perfume commercial. :confuzzled:

Well, anyway, we should probably be talking about Norrie since this IS his club after all...

Aww! *hugs Ms.Gamgee* We watched it during our Film Club meeting, but I didn't go to the meeting because I own the DVD. Still, it's hard to watch it in school because you don't want to show anyone you're crying.

Anie, hmmm, that tis probably a good idea.

aww, I understand. And now my craving has really been satisfied... I got a big bag of pink M&Ms last Sunday as a sort of Christmas present from one of my friends. now I shall be set for, oh, probably.... two months! :teehee:

lol, aye.
thanks! I thought it was quite brilliant myself. ;) hmmm, well, it seems like in the subtitled PotC versions Jack says it "oi"... we'll both have to go look again now lol (watching parts of the movies in subtitles is such fun, isn't it? lol)
hmm, I suppose it shouldn't be. :P
*sigh* it's so tragic! I love my "little" actors and "little" characters! :( I really hope they do! lol, yeah.... it has been really mulled over and picked apart in the AWE thread (and it seems like everywhere else too :P) but that doesn't mean it's all bad... it just sometimes gets me really worked up. ;)

lol, very good point! :P yeah, Cutler can be... well, Cutler. :teehee: I can't think of any nicknames at all except for Becky. he shall always be my Becky!

hmmm, I thought I came up with it as a Norribeth song. ;) Huzzah for The Norribeth Song! :bounce: when I put it in my iPod instead of having the actual name come up I might type in The Norribeth Song. :teehee:
welllll... ummmmm, I might have had a hand in it.... :P

ok, good question! I kinda have to side with Ara here... although I did start liking James before AWE came out. I didn't loose any respect for him when he stole the heart. I quite understand it, actually. I mean the poor dude was desperate to get his life back and get off that smelly ship. I think, if I was him, I would be too. ;) so from the many times I've "entered" his mind in different circumstances I can understand him and I know that it was only in his character. :) and seeing him in DMC was when I began to fall in love with him... actually it's probably getting close to my 1 year anniversary of falling in love with Norrie's character! Huzzah for me! :P

Oh, good! I'm so glad! :D Chocolate is always a good present, eh? ;)

I think you might be right about "oi" actually...oh well. I've watched the movie with subtitles on some parts I can't understand, which is always fun. Sometimes it's the exact opposite of what I thought the line was! And then with Spanish subtitles is really fun too. :D
Don't worry! If they have fans then they aren't really "little" now are they? :) No, I understand exactly what you mean. Picking apart this whole thing isn't bad at all...it's just getting a little bit repetitive, that's all. :P

"And I shall call him [Becky], and he shall be mine, and he shall be my [Becky]." :teehee:

 That's cute! The Norriebeth Song! By the way, I like your avvie. :D "Don't be so modest, [PD], step up, claim your reward." ;)

 I agree with you guys, I understood why Norrie did what he did and I didn't hold a grudge against him for it. (Besides, Lizzie's mega-betrayal with Jack was enough to blow every thought of James' betrayal out of my mind... :teehee:) Aww, 1 year anniversary! That's sweet, PD!

Ms. Gamgee, don't feel embarrassed...I was actually watching AWE with my Spanish class and I was afraid I was going to cry when Norrie died (fortunately we stopped it just before that scene started).

Aramel, thanks. ;)

I wouldn't know either... they all seem to be in some perfume ad at some point! lol :P

anyway, hi, Ms.Gamgee!!! :bye2:

And now that you say that that brings something to my mind... now when you talk about Norrington do you refer to him as
Commodore
Admiral
or just plan James or Norrington?

this is just something that popped into my mind... Hmmmm

Anie, aye, chocolate is tah best! :-D

lol, I do that all the time too! :P it's a wonderful way to learn quotes and such... and it is a good way to learn the lines! especially some of Barby's, Jones', Tia's and some of the others with accents and such. :P Oh, I've done that with I think it was... Stardust... :P yes, that was it! I watched some of it in Spanish subtitles and some in French and so on. lol

awww, I LOVE that quote! where'd you get that from? It's just great!
ummm, thanks! :P awww, well, I kinda like me avvy too... :teehee: (although that quote scares me a little... funny scene in AWE though!)

thanks! :-D

man, you guys are lucky getting to watch AWE in class!?!?!!? :swoon: I'd never heard of such a thing!!!!

Aye! But the accents be the best part, matey! :teehee: I like imitating all the "weird" people so I can learn their accents...apparently I do a very convincing Barby. :P Ooh, that must've been fun! I really should rent that movie sooner or later...it sounds interesting.

Finding Nemo, of course! :D I just substituted "Becky" in for "Squishy". Good ol' Dory.
Well, now you've got a new one, of course. But this one's very pretty too. :P
("Couldn't resist, mate." :P)

You're welcome!

Yeah, it was a project day and my Spanish teacher LOVES Orlando and Pirates (she went to see AWE the first night it was out!). It was pretty awesome, even if half the class wasn't paying much attention. :D

you have a good point there, Pip! :P hey, they aren't weird! They're just colorful! :teehee: man, I wish I could hear your Baby accent... I know my brother is REALLY good at doing a Barbossa accent. :-D yes, you should... it was a lot better than I thought it might be. :)

ahhhh, hmmm, I haven't seen Finding Nemo in... forever! but that's a good quote!
 yup, I've got a new one now! thanks!

that would explain it! :teehee: that's awesome!!! but how could you not pay attention!? :swoon: you have crazy classmates, my friend... or else we're the crazy ones! lol

Heh, yep, I love my Spanish teacher even if she's crazy. :D I feel sorry for you guys who don't have teachers like that though - however do you survive school? :( ;)

Colorful, indeed. :P I tried doing an imitation of Davy in front of one of my guy friends and he got really freaked out...it was great. And Ian McKellan's doing the narration, right? I think that seals the deal for me: I must see Stardust! ;)

Oh, you should watch it again! I love Pixar movies, they make the best family-type movies I've seen in a long time. Very warm and fuzzy endings.
Of course you do. :duh: ;) But I like this one too! And I know its origins, haha. :P

Um, they either didn't like Pirates, didn't like AWE or hadn't seen AWE and didn't want to watch because they missed the first five minutes (though that was just my friend Eli, he's seen it by now though :P). I'm not sure why...they're the weird ones, of course! How dare you imply we're weird?! :teehee:

aww, I can't believe we're letting this poor Norrie club die! :'(

That sounds like it would be great! lol wow, I wish there was someone I could freak out by doing that too... but my brother is used to it and I don't think I'd have the nerve to do it to my other friends. :P Yup, he did do it.. I din't know it til I started watching it, but it didn't take me long to pick him out. ;)

aye, I know! Pixar movies are such fun! the Incredibles and Ratatouille are tow of my favorites. ;) (although I think you already knew that)

Oh my goodness! Any of those are blasphemous! :swoon: how could you NOT like Pirates? It's just... wrong! of course... sorry, they're the weird ones, you're right. :P

what's everyone's fave Norrie quote anyway? One of my favorites has to be "Quickly"... yes, one word... but when he says it and the he way he says it.... man, I just about want to die!!! :teehee:

Sorry...I was afraid of the big bad mods.

Well, this particular guy is convinced that I can do no wrong and I don't have a bit of evil in me, so that kind of just added to it. :teehee: Oh well, you never know...maybe soon you'll make a new RL friend who likes Pirates that you can scare with your imitations. :P Oooh... Alright. I MUST SEE THAT MOVIE. ;)

Yeah, I did. But it's okay. ;) My personal two favorites are The Incredibles (huzzah for Violet!) and Monsters, Inc., but I really do love them all.

Meh. I don't know. One of the ones who didn't like it just didn't like the second two, she liked CotBP okay...and some of them were just kind of ignoring it, like they didn't care. Pretty crazy, I agree.

Ooh, a good question! Let's see...I think my very, very favorite is "Our destinies have been entwined, Elizabeth, but never joined." It's just such a beautiful, melancholy line, and he says it with such emotion in his voice... :'( My favorite as far as the cadence of his voice goes is "So you never wondered how your latest fiance ended up on the Flying Dutchman in the first place?" I just love the way he does that, so condescendingly. :teehee: Oh, and I almost forgot the deleted scene from CotBP where he says "Miss Swann...the very best of luck to you both." LOVE that one too! It's hard to pick, actually. :P
