^yeah, I love Tolkien, but I kinda wish he hadn't put that pesky accent on her name, it makes it so complicated. _________________

Yep. I've figured out a way (copy and paste works WONDERS) but you're right, it's a pain.  At least this way her name's unique, eh? _________________

Thank you! Yeah, I hope things will go on normal now, and I'll get online again more often.
Anyways... my favourite scene... in the book it definitely is the Scene between Faramir and Eowyn, when they at last fall in love and are both healed now. In the movie I'd say in the SEE when Eomer finds his sister on the Pelennor fields and she is healed... because... I love the relationship between Eomer and Eowyn, and in both book and movie I think it wasn't mentioned enough for me, so... I'm gratious for this one scene.

You're welcome on both counts.
And I agree with you, one of my favorite scenes in the book (and my favorite chapter, actually) is The Steward and the King. I underlined all the parts with Eowyn and Faramir in my one-volume copy...teehee.  And I still wish they'd filmed at least a little more of that in the movie, or at least had him say "Do not scorn pity that is the gift of a gentle heart, Eowyn" because that's one of my favorite quotes, but I like the snippet they do get in the EE.
And a close runner-up is the scene from both book and movie where she fights the Witch-King. It's spiffy! _________________

Yeah, indeed, I nearly did that as well, but than thought... nope, too precious book, I just can't underline those passages! lol
Well... both of those are my favourite scenes, I love them, in book as in the movie as well.
hmm.... I won't get online for some time now, and I guess as we two are the only two posting in here, Anie, this club will die...  I'm really sorry about this, I don't want the Eowyn Club to die, it's my precious club, the first one I started. But as I won't be there now, I guess I won't be able to revive it then again.
Though I hope it won't happen. Bye to you all Eowyn fans in here, I'll see you in some time maybe. Namarie!

*Pokes head in* Anyone out there...? Or has this club offically died?  Well, if it hasn't, then I'd like to join. I loved Eowyn... forever! She's such a deep, beatuiful, strong character. An amazing women! (Like her sooo much better then Arwen )
