My favorite old sci-fi movie. They just don't make them like they did in the 50's.
I love that movie!!!
timx4. You. Are. Awesome.
And I want to see the new Jane Eyre!
I just watched The Mission and am again reminded of why it is my favorite movie. Even though it's heartbreaking, it is something that makes me think...question... realize.
And Jeremy Irons + Robert de Niro = the dynamic and [cough-oh-so-hot-cough] dramatic duo.

^Ok, we have similar tastes to the point that it still scares me. And: OH MY GOD. I HAVE NEVER MET ANYONE UNDER MY PARENTS' AGE WHO HAS SEEN IT! Robby is hands down the greatest movie robot ever (I even have a little wind-up toy of him from when dad was a kid). *Is excited*
Anyway, I watched "The Iron Giant" earlier. Awesome movie.

^^OH my god, Miss Arweb! I watched that tonight TOO!!! THANK god for the Turner Classic Movies channel! Ha ha ha ha!
EVERYONE needs their own Mr. Knightly!
I desperatley want one too....one that looks a LOT like Mr. Jeremy Northam.
ANYWAY...
"Wimbeldon". Paul Bettany is BEYOND hot. I can forgive Kirsten Dunst's performance because I TOTALLY forgot that James McAvoy is in this movie. And he can wear spandex shorts ANY time.

I thought everyone needed their own Mr darcy... actually, I saw a book in the bookstore the other day dealing with a woman on a search for her own Mr Darcy - and found him!

Indeed you speak the truth. We all need a Mr. Darcy--but we also all need a Mr. Knightly and a Colonel Brandon. I think a conglomeration of those three should suffice. Maybe...mmm...that'd be a bit odd.
That book sounds...interesting. I'm jealous. XD

*grumbles*
I'm like soo not a romantic!!!
Nah... I might not need a Mr Darcy... I got so annoyed with him both in the BBC P&P and the movie, that he's all pouty face all through the movie.. and then Colin Firth continues the arrogant acting in Bridget Jones... godness I'll second what MoBo said, that man needs to smile more!!!
Did I mention I watched The Diving Bell and the Butterfly... I think more people should watch it!

@Ea: You KNOW you're a romantic!!! *evil laughter* But you know, I do think that this thread disappeared for a tiny bit. It was gone....and then it wasn't. WEIRD. Ha ha ha ha!
You know, last night I was watching the Critics' Choice Awards...and that movie you watched won a lot of awards. It looks FASCINATING! I take it it was good?
I watched "Jane Eyre" this morning. (This morning meaning 4am ) The Masterpiece Theatre/probably BBC Jane Eyre. It was good.

I like Mr Darcy and all... but it is Mr Bingley who I'm really in love with.
*plugs ears against laughter*
Seriously; he's utter rich, redheaded, romantic, cute, slightly awkward, insanely sweet goodness!
I'd like my very own Mr Bingley please.
I watched Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone last night. Radcliffe sure was a cute little kid. And Grint has the most adorable accent...

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring - Extended Edition
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers - Extended Edition
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King - Extended Edition
Had my 6th official EE marathon yesterday! It was so much fun (again). My two brothers joined me for the whole thing and we had cramped in three comfy recliners in the bedroom of one of the brothers (he has the HDTV and surround system). We got started at around 11:00-ish and finished at around midnight - bathroom and food breaks included! They kept hitting me for knowing all the lines before they were said and for randomly adding movie and book trivia like the nerd and geek I am and I kept hitting them for ruining the emotional moments by making fun of the characters/actors/story LOL
YAYY for LotR EE Marathons

@FM: I totally love Bingly too!
@Eru: Dude, I'm planning an LOTR EE marathon for this Friday. Marking the anniversary I first saw FOTR.
"Inside Man".
DAMN is all I have to say. That was freakin' AWESOME. And Clive Owen... ...as always. God that voice of his.
(EDIT: Ha ha ha ha! I just realized this was my 4000th post! XD XD)

This was the first time I actually watched it. So sad. Loved it still though. <3
