I'm watching ALL THREE tomorrow! Muahaha. Or at least the last two...I'm having a couple of friends over and we're doing a marathon, although we may have to forego CotBP due to time issues. But still. I'm uber-excited! [/i]

Millie, you really think so? well, I'm sure he will since he doesn't even know I exist! Precisely! XD Aramel Elyanwe wrote: I watched DMC tonight! Well, not the whole thing since I watched it yesterday too.. but it's good to watch them again instead of just watching AWE...
I haven't watched CotBP in the longest time either, so I might do that tomorrow.
I missed Orli's birthday too... My friend and I were supposed to wear yellow (since that's his fav. color) on the 13th of January each year, but we forgot for the past two years. Oops.
Yes, when I was still an enormous fan, I would hold mini-parties with my other obsessive friends, XD. We'd sit around and eat junk food and watch a movie of his. Now I just change my desktop to a picture of him for the day.
I watched DMC and AWE last night as well. I really should watch CotBP again as well...
Anie: Oh I had one of those a few weeks ago! It took 8 hours (we watched all 3). My only advice would be to not give people too much pop. My friends and I got a little high on sugar, so we "married" the male characters. For instance, I ended up becoming Mrs. Emily Sparrow-Turner-Norrington-Beckett-Depp (we just threw Depp in there because we could) and then we devised schedules for who got which husband on which day. It was a little scary, lol.

@PD - Aye... and not only that, but we're nearing DMC in the KAWEOTH RP, so it might be a good idea to brush up a bit. Yep, yellow is Orli's fav. color! Although, I don't own anything yellow either, except for one of those rubber bracelets, but it has blue and white mixed in with it.
@Ánië - All three? I don't know if I could survive that long... I'd probably be like a zombie near the end of DMC!
I think CotBP is still my absolute fav, although upon some thinking over, I've found that DMC and AWE are sorta tied. Each one was good in its own way, plotwise and character development. Although the first one seems more believable.

Anie, so I trust you did have a very good time?
Millie, ahem... Becky is already claimed, m'dear. *points down at siggy* he tis my hubby... *huggles Beckett* and I'm not letting him go for anyone... not even Riley Poole! But I must ask what about Barbossa? The poor fellow needs someone to want to marry him...
Aramel, that's a good idea... I really should do that. brush up on my DMC for KAWEOTH. Well, at least you wore/did something! CotBP is more... ummm, believable? that sounds kinda contrary... these movies are suppose to NOT be normal or ordinary, aren't they? hmm, it's interesting to hear you say that though because I still have to say DMC is my fave! The DMC/AWE plotline is so much deeper and the charries are such fun and overall there is a lot more for your mind to mull over and for your imagination.

I know. We weren't serious. He's all yours. XD Besides, I have my darling Legolas of Gondolin! *huggles*
Barbossa's got a bit of a creepy nose...XD But Next time we get over excited and drunk on sugar, I'll be sure to mention him! My one friend did decide that the fish people we attractive and married some of them, so I suppose he's got a chance.

Aye, I had forgotten about most of the scenes because I hadn't watched it since like, summer... But it's good Beckett studying too. Well, yeah, I mean the fish creatures were a little... unbelievable? But I think what I meant to say was it's a classic pirate film and that's what made me fall in love with it. DMC started out fine for me, but AWE was just a little over the edge. Excuse the pun.
Although I did like: "My Peanut!" When he pulls it out of Jack's hair. Had me cracking up like you wouldn't believe.

Millie, lol, I know, I know.
a creepy nose, huh? That's a first! lol But I guess you're right... mostly I think of Barby as just being too old and, well, too piratey. He just belongs single. They married some of Jones' crew? Oh, my goodness, see what happens to you when you get sugar-happy?
Aramel, for shame! Not since summer? Although who am I to talk? I think it's been that long for me too... and I do need some good Beckett studying... eh, pooh, that's what they're suppose to be all about! over the edge! lol and, yeah, some of AWE was a little too "out there" maybe, but it's still really good. I dunno, I guess CotBP is more "classic" in that sense, but I kinda like how DMC and AWE are not quite what you'd expect. (*coughcough* and Beckett's in them )
personally that whole "My peanut" stuff scared me! I thought Singapore was a pretty funny scene actually... when Little Jack lit the firework... and also when the BP crew came up out of the water with coconut shells on their headse except Pintel. and of course when Lizzie pulls gun after gun out always makes me giggle... and I won't even start on Barby.

Welcome, Aranel! XD
I would have to agree. It was the weirdest, but my favourite, if for no other reason than Willabeth finally got married. Well, it was just great all around. CotBP introduced everyone, DMC felt to me like a really piratey movie, but it was kind of dark and seirous, and the AWE was happy and light and funny again. Well, not quite light, but not as grave.

Aramel, I know! tis ok! Well, you are totally entitled to you're opinion, and I won't argue because AWE WAS the weirdest... that doesn't mean worst it just means it was... crazy. And, heck yeah, it was worth paying the money to see it in the theater! Even for the three times I went to see it! and not to mention I needed to take advantage of AWE because for CotBP and DMC I really wasn't into PotC yet. Aye, good ol' Becky and the person who invented him!
Well, a lot of AWE was funny and good in that sense (although personally I love PotC for more than the humor ) but yes the multiple Jacks scare me a lot!!! Not so much when he's in the Locker but when they start climbing around in his dreadlocks... yeah, then maybe it gets a little too weird. Oh, that's a great scene too! Pinny and Rags are amazing!!! I love when they're climbing on the Kraken's dead body and they're "Pintel and Ragetti - Kraken slayers"
Millie, you too? Hmmm, that's pretty much what my brother says about DMC and the rest too. although I think AWE was pretty dark. I mean it starts out dark and I dunno how much better it gets... but I didn't mind that part because they were showing you how grim things were for the pirates and how much of a *ahem* pig Beckett is. But my brother likes DMC the best because it's the most piratey and I suppose I must agree with both of you.
Aranel, welcome to the club!

Yeah, AWE was pretty dark as well...I guess DMC just took me by surprise because CotBP was so light and airy. I guess by AWE we were just used to it, lol. But I like all three of them.

Especially since me and the guy dressed up as Will and Lizzie for our school's Sadie Hawkins, so their relationship is sort of special to me now. Aramel Elyanwe wrote: @Ánië - All three? So I've gotten pretty good at these marathons. Anyway, if you're getting up to stretch and wander around every couple hours it's not so bad. Calloniel (PD) wrote: Anie, so I trust you did have a very good time? AYE! We did indeed. And the beach scene wasn't awkward like I thought it might be, what with Devon there and all... I agree, they're so awesome! Especially Rags...but then, I'm not prejudiced in the LEAST. *:hug:s Rags*
Ooh, welcome, Aranel! Goodness...Aramel and Aranel, we may have a problem with that. JK! It's always nice to have new members.

i can never decide which one i luv the most.CotBP,well since it was the first one and the one that i first fell in love with, but the next two are just so over-the-top and unbelievable u cant help but luv em for it.i guess they were darker b/c of the introduction of the whole Davy Jones/Flying Dutchman storyline which makes cursed undead skeletons look perfectly normal.
the bit where Jack is in the Locker cracks me up its both hilarious and kinda alarming with the multiple Jacks thing.i was like 'ok wow hes finally flipped'.
