Well I've only read 48 pages. It's a bit confusing as it swaps from being from the point of view of one of the characters to then the same character being talked of from the author's point of view, and then sometimes we hear the thoughts of other characters that are currently being talked about by the main charcter... but as the main character can't know other people's thoughts, that's the author once again.

I see. Sounds puzzling. Let me know what you think of it over all once you're done with it, if you'd be so very kind.

Yes, I like books to either be from the authors point of view or from one of the characters, I've never come across one that swaps around. *scratches head*

Yep, I definitely will. I'll be reading some more of hers soon as well, so it's probably time to resurrect the old DDM thread. :D

I'm reading The Assignment right now (I forget the authors name...my bad.) It's a pretty exciting book, and the action is awesome... but the heroine bugs me. And the plot is really weird and kind of messed up... meh... I'm glad I read it once, but prolly will never read it again.

Next stop: The Sea of Trolls!! woot!

^I really need to read some of Anne McCaffrey's books soon. I have a bunch of them sitting on my shelf just waiting for me...

But first I'm going through a massive Ted Dekker obsession, starting with Showdown.

Obsessed (by Dekker) is one of my favorite books EVER. Dekker is my hero.

I'm reading... The Bartimaeus Trilogy, first book! WOOT!

And so far, Nathaniel is such a refreshing main character for fantasy, he actually does GOOD things once in a while... and Bartimaeus is hysterical... really making me laugh out loud.

The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith.
It's the first book I read by him and I love the way he writes about Africa!
