Toy Story. xD My family wanted to watch it, so I was dragged in too. It was worrying as we all knew it word for word.

wuthering heights (the 1998 tv version). plotwise, it was a pretty faithful adaptation of the novel, and i thought the romance between catherine and hareton was nicely done, but some of the characterisation was less than brilliant - there was a tendency to try and ameliorate the characters, which irritated me somewhat.
calendar girls. i swear, i cant watch helen mirren for any longer than about two seconds before feeling an uncontrollable urge to slap her. still, i love julie walters and celia imrie, so they more than made up for the irritation she caused.

Meet the Robinsons. I know, I know. But my friend gave it to me and promised me it was really good. He said he almost cried at the end of it. And although I didn't almost cry, I have to say that as far as G rated movies go, it wasn't bad. It was pretty cute. Though really, really eclectic. But yeah. Much different than I was expecting.

He almost cried during Meet the Robinsons? What kind of friends do you have?

Haha, my mum hates Helen Mirren as well. I thought she was alone in this world.
yep, that was the one. why did little heathcliff scare you?
and you can tell your mum she's not alone. the rest of my family don't like her either.

Hey, whatever, I still tear up sometimes at the end. But it's kinda more warm-fuzzy tears than boo-hoo-that's-sad tears.

Notting Hill. Cuuuute movie - I'm such a hopeless sucker for romance. And Hugh Grant = impossible not to love.
