I liked the movie but what I really like is the music so the soundtrack is one of my favorites. I love singing along but my family has threatened to tape my mouth shut if I attempt it again .

^ I actually thought he was good, but sometimes I just cracked up when his Scottish accent came through...

Phanny can sort of sing...in a raspy way, I guess. I think it fits most of the time, especially in Point of No Return; but in a few songs, like Music of the Night, it seems like he should have sounded a lot softer and mellower. Still, Gerry did a good job for someone with no previous singing experience.

Sort of....I thought he sang very well in that cut scene --- what was it called? "No One Ever Listens" ? I think you sent me it, Arwen. In that scene he could sing --- and since it wasn't opera. Gerry doesn't have an opretic voice....he's a good..NORMAL singer but...just not the ideal Phanny.

Yeah, I think it was "No One Would Listen." I wish they hadn't cut that out! Such a good song, and you're right - his voice did sound quite good on that take.
