But first I'm going through a massive Ted Dekker obsession, starting with Showdown. Obsessed (by Dekker) is one of my favorite books EVER. Dekker is my hero. I'm reading... The Bartimaeus Trilogy, first book! WOOT! And so far, Nathaniel is such a refreshing main character for fantasy, he actually does GOOD things once in a while... and Bartimaeus is hysterical... really making me laugh out loud.
Nathaniel gets icky in the next two. But, I would marry Bartimaeus... in a heartbeat.

Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt. I got it about a year ago, and I finally decided to actually read it. So far it's alright. Enough to keep my interest anyway. Sad. But good.

the iliad. i'm reading chapman's translation, but it's incredibly hard work - sixteenth century poetic syntax is quite simply ridiculous.

And you should! They're awesome and I love that series! I love Nathaniel and I love Bartimaeus! *huggles all three books*Calloniel (PD) wrote: Chronicles of Narnia: The Last Battle - finally I'm on to the last one in the series (can't wait to see how it turns out... I've only heard hints about the end)! *huggles all the Narnia books* I'm wuvin' them!
Like omg, I'm fighting with myself to not sell out the ending.

I'm half way through Realms of the Elves edited by Philip Athans. It's an anthology, and I probably won't finish it because many of the "short" stories are terribly immoral.
