I like Concerning Hobbits, Aragorn and Arwen's song, the Breaking of the Fellowship, the Bridge of Kzahddum, Lothlorien, and May It Be.

That would be "Council of Elrond" but if you mean that section of the song I believe it's "Aniron" or something of the sort.
Mine would be "Concerning Hobbits" because it's probably the most liveliest
Or "The Rings Goes South" because it's the most epic
Or "The Breaking of the Fellowship" because it has "In Dreams" sung near the end.

Yeah, that's right. The song during Aragorn's and Arwen's meeting in Rivendell is called Aníron.

I think that "The Breaking of the Fellowship" may just be one of the most beautiful pieces of music that I've ever heard! It brings me to tears with the opening notes, evoking emotions of course tied to the film symbolizing love, loyalty and .... friendship. A sheer masterpiece, one I will always love to my dying day!
And of course, nothing was better than hearing it conducted live by the great master, Mr. Howard Shore! Awwww....the tears flowed.....

Totally Concerning Hobbits. Lothlorien is kind of depressing to me.

I really love the Lothlorien music even though it's not happy. Too me it has something mysterious and it expresses how old the people in this forest are (especially Galadriel and Celeborn) and that they come from the time of the story of the Silmarillion.
I think it's very beautiful.
But I also really like Concerning Hobbits

My favorite songs would be "May It Be", because the words and music are simply gorgeous, and "Lament for Gandalf", even if it is depressing, because it is in Elvish and the music is so beautiful. My favorite song on the FotR soundtrack is Aníron, though, because both the words and music are unbelievably amazing.

I also like "The Prophecy", maybe even more than Aníron. (Sorry, but I had to add that.)

oh, I really like the Bridge of Khazad Dum and the Lórien theme, too. I especially like listening to it while reading the Silmarillion. I think it's because these two pieces (particularly the Lórien piece of course) represent very old cultures that already existed during the Sil and that still keep the memory of those days. And I think the music really suits that.

1) The Breaking of the Fellowship 2) Concerning Hobbits 3) May it Be 4) The Bridge of Khazad Dum
The Breaking of the Fellowship is my favorite piece by far out of all of the LotR soundtracks. Aside from the fact that Howard Shore gives the violas wonderful MELODIES (I play viola, and this is a rare thing), it is so heartbreaking, beautiful, and inspiring all at once. I absolutely love it!!! It makes the amazing ending to the FotR movie even better.
