I love that I'm from Missoula! It was SUCH an amazing documentary! SO funny and cute and brought back SOOO many memories of them coming to my school every year! One of the school's performances that they documented was an Innuit (sp?) school WAAAY up in the middle of nowhere Canada, and the little girl who played the lead, Marianne (from Robin Hood) was LEGALLY blind and knew EVERYONE'S lines! OH man! And JK SIMMONS made an appearance in the documentary! (Because he graduated from the UM Fine Arts school ) OH man! Amazing film! Great documentary! I suggest anyone who gets a chance to watch documentaries, look for this one in a few months.
^Ooo, I know about the MCT! they come to my town every year (Actually, I think they are hear right now!). My sister did it once, and had a blast.
Anyways... the last movies I watched were-
Moulin Rouge- I loved the music.... and Ewan was amazing (as usual). But... it wasn't exactly a great movie to watch with my little brother and my guy friend... haha.
Skin Walkers- Oh man. Beyond lame... I was shocked at how lame/boring it was...

Me too! But you know what's funny? I saw it twice in theaters, and I didn't notice the freckles till my friend Devon pointed them out. But maybe it's because I have freckles so I don't notice them on other people...? I dunno.
Spider-Man - Haha, I love how this movie feels like a comic book.
And I got about halfway through X-Men before I had to leave for a concert.

Haha, I watched Bruce Almighty on tv a little bit ago. That movie doesn't get any less funny, no matter how many times you watch it.

Head starring the Monkees. This is such an old film, no one's probably seen it, nonetheless heard of it. Its really trippy, but if you can get past the first 10 minutes of it, it's downright hilarious. If you love old-fashioned slapstick humour, I recommend anything by the Monkees. And the Three Stooges.... but thats a different story

Monters Inc. - I adore Pixar movies. And this one is really cute. The ending is just so sweet.

"Death at a Funeral"
Without a doubt the most hilarious movie I have seen in months. British comedies are the absolute best... they always own the crap that America churns out. Plus it had Alan Tudyk in it, which was a huge plus.

Dead Poet's Society--I hadn't seen it, and one of my friends verbally slapped me about it, so I decided I should see it. It was nice. I looove Robert Sean Leonard.

"Dear Wendy"
Wow. I am speechless. I don't even know what to think about this movie... I was hooked from the opening lines to when the screen went black and I just sat there, absolutely stunned. I knew how it would end from the very beginning but I couldn't help getting so attached to the The Dandies, especially Chris Owen as Huey. For me he even outshined Jamie Bell's fantastic performance. I loved the progression from the realistic beginning to the slightly bizarre yet amazing middle and surreal, unbelievably over the top yet fitting ending.
What did it mean? I have no idea. Is it a tragic love story? A criticism of America's violent culture? There are so many possible interpretations that I just can't figure it out.
"The Regulations are that the most important thing for a Dandy is never to show off his partner, whatever the provocation. We carry them as moral supports. And that's the most important thing. They may be carried, but never brandished. That would be the worst thing of all. Not one of us were in doubt about the most important thing of all. The reason why our partners could only be fired in the darkness of the old mine and could never be exposed to full light and thereby be woken up. Because once awoken nothing could stop them from following their true nature and killing. And it was so forbidden to say that word, that we called it "loving" instead. And "loving" could never, ever happen because that would be the end of it all."

Finished X-Men - Rogue pwns.
X2: X-Men United - Changed my mind. Nightcrawler pwns.
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - "So long and thanks for all the fish! So sorry it had come to this, we tried to warn you but oh dear!" Why haven't I bothered to watch this before?! Man, I've been missing out!
X-Men: The Last Stand - Made me sob like a baby during Prof. X's funeral. But I still love it.
