Just watched Closer.

The one with four crazy beautiful actors stuck in a very sad love triangle----square----thing with lots of swearing.

Oh I just loved that movie! And Natalie's in it! Though in a very interesting role. Nevertheless she was great. She should have won that Oscar! Hmph! Clive Owen and Jude Law were great, too.

^She was definitely my favorite character, and I felt bad for her because at one point both Dan and Larry were in love with Anna and Alice was just kind of left ..... yeah just left....

Questions?

Recently saw Howl's Moving Castle too.
Enemy at the Gates.
The Incredibles.
Phantom of the Opera (again).

ahmagawd!! I love Enemy at the Gates!! Thats the one with Jude Law, yes?

National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets
Of course, Riley is the best. But everything else was really boring. Acting was stale, and I was very dissapointed in Ted and Terry for churning out a pathetic script. Oh well.

Battlestar Galactica

Technically the mini-series...but I watched it as a movie. Reminded me how much I adore this show <3

Yep, that's the one. The first real Jude Law film I've seen and I was impressed, but admittedly, I adored Ed Harris (Major Konig) and Rachel Weisz more.

Shadowlands.

Super film. However, having trouble seeing Anthony Hopkins *CoughHANNIBAL.RAWRRRRRCough* as C.S.Lewis. But he's just such an amazing actor, he totally pulls it off, no sweat. :P

Ooo, it's Kit. Squishy. *Prods her* :innocent:

Woooooah. That was brutal, even for me. I loved it... but it was harsh. Jamie Bell amazes me with everything he does. Yet another of his films that I need to watch again soon.

Just back from seeing Jumper.
I enjoyed this way more than I thought I would. Good fun, entertaining popcorn flick.

In Her Shoes - it was a sweet movie with a good, touching story. I enjoyed it. :-D

"Contact"

:notworthy:

This movie is LOVE. Seriously. Props to the ALMIGHTY Carl Sagan for writing the book in the first place, but this movie is just awesome-ness.

My favourite moments are:
When Ellie first hears the "message" and is driving like mad through the VLA screaming into the radio ... and then the whole scene in the lab area place. :P

And then when Kent hears her saying "I'm okay-to-go." AWWW.

And then at the very end, when the White House people are like, "How do you explain 18 hours of static?" XD

the fight scene between dermot mulroney and josh lucas is mad. the actors both broke ribs while filming it, and lucas blacked out because mulroney was choking him so hard, which i guess explains why it looks so realistic.

and yeah, jamie is as belltastic as ever. i love how physical his performances are. most actors only act from the neck up - they use their voices and their facial expressions, and that's it - but he uses his whole body. whether he's dancing in billy elliot, climbing rooftops in hallam foe, or leaping over fences in undertow, he's always moving, and that makes his performances much more dynamic.

and i love love love your banner. :swoon:

TT has broken her resolution! :D

Becket - Loved it... Tis an old movie, about a saint, but still.. 1) It was amazing actors. Peter O'Toole (somehow I think I spelt that wrong :erm:) and Richard Burton. 2). Just the over all amazingness of the story. :)

The first half of Beauty and the Beast and the last half of Cars - There's something very special about watching these kinds of movies with a four year old. :) I guess it reminds me of how I was... Though, he's a boy who covers his face every time someone kisses. 'tis very cute. :)

^Heh, my nieces always cover my eyes in the kissing scenes.

Me: Look girls, I'm almost 18, I can handle it...
Them: But they're slobbering...
Me: *chokes*

Saving Sarah Cain

I must say, if I was a preteen girl, I'd forget this nonsense over whatshisface from High School Musical or William Moseley. I'd be fangirling Soren Fulton for sure. That boy can do accents really good! I mean, really, really good.
His PA dutch was beyond critique. I oughta know, I used to speak it.
