Aye, sorry it took so long to pull back up from teh abyss. 
And it wasn't really a fun experience either. Being trapped in the airport for about four hours and then once getting to Florida, we drove around until four in the morning until we actually found the Motel. Yes, a motel, I HATE them so much! 
Lol, go ahead if you want... I added 'PD & Ara - But We're Not Obsessed!' to my sig...  Yeah, I figured as much, I just wanted to see how she acted in it. Although I actually stayed up until 10:30 last night!  *ish proud of herself* But I have school tomorrow. Blech. 
Agh, everyone's posting so fast on APL!  I'll have to go there to reply again..

that's alright! At least it's back now! (and really it didn't take that long, m'dear  )
blah, sorry to hear that... but at least it's all ancient history now, right? wow, it sounds just plain exhausting to me! I guess to me driving is good enough... although our drive through South Dakota and all those states several years ago was LONG... but even then I still would've rather stayed on the ground than be up in the air.  Motels, really? I think we almost always stay in hotels.  they're much nicer, I would agree.
I see that! hmmm, I'm not sure if I have room though. hehe, good job to you, Ara! *hands cookie* sorry to hear that... but just think, I had school today and I still have it tomorrow too.
I know what you mean!! I guess that's a good thing, but still...

oh, dear...  whatever shall we do with you, Ara? You and your puns... well, there's nothing really wrong with that. I like land. I don't want to be air-borne. I want to be in a car, on the ground. although I can swim and I'm sort of working on the driving. Ewwwww! vermin running around?! Yuck!!! That is just gross! another thing is the other costumers the hotel gets. No "rooms by the hour".  
I heard! wow, that's the worst you've gotten? we've gotten it pretty bad here... although today a LOT of it melted. Huzzah!!!
Oooo, yes that scene is one of the greatest! Beckett is just so cool, collected an awesome! He never lets himself get ruffled or anything. He's always in control... even if he's not, you know? Oh, I also like the scene where he’s talking to Governor Swann in DMC... he's so sneaky and evil! "I personally find it distasteful to even contemplate the horrors facing all those on board" It's just awesome!
but then again I'm feeling rather Beckett-ish right now... I'm replying to all the RPs.

I know, I'm so cheesy... Probably because I'm always the 'sane' one in RL and I never say those things... Being stupid on purpose can be fun sometimes.
Oh, and get this - after school, my friends ran around putting duct tape on lockers, walls, exit signs... they're so crazy! They took a piece of tape and put it over the 'Orchestra Room' sign and wrote 'Men's Room' and similar things... like on the one exit sign my friend was telling me they wrote 'entrance'! I hope they don't get in trouble, but it was still funny.
We had a two-hour delay today for really nothing.. some supposed sleet and rain, but nothing much. Oh well, it gave me an extra hour of sleep! 
Yeah, that's why I love him so much! He's just a great character and can keep his cool most of the time. I thought the death scene was so touching, just how for once he was really at a loss. Talk about another side to him! Poor guy just never saw it coming. 
*ish in a Beckara mood* I think you've infected me with it again! So much so that I had to put a little kiss in APL...

I dunno about cheesy necessarily... really? hmmm, that's very... interesting.  you're the "sane" one in RL? hmmm, never would've guessed that... in RL I'm the quiet one I guess... not that I really think I'm that way... but I guess it comes off like that. I just have too much going on in my mind to chatter. Right!

aye, aye to that!!! Although playing a Beckett who's a little... ummm, well, on the edge, you know? Where he's in a situation where his "cool" is just about spent is fun too. Very fun. it is sort of touching in that way... although sad too (although I'm the only one who thinks that, so I am told ). Yeah, but he got too cocky toward the end really. he was too confident in his situation and that nothing could defeat him. Because there were several things he could've done to ensure that what ended up happening, wouldn't. Trust me, I've studied the whole scenario... that's what you do when you're bored and you've got to much time on your hands. lol
infected?! Come, come... that's not the word for it! Ooooooooooo  you don't know the major "squee" I had to suppress when I read this!!! I almost literally FLEW over to APL. lol I shall have to reply to it sometime!!! Huzzah for teh Beckara!!!

Yeah, I'm the one that likes to think things through before I do something... I'm not too insane, unless it's lunch time and then...  Everything goes crazy during lunch. And it doesn't help to have really weird and random friends either!
I don't know, but they did! But the next day most of the duct tape was taken off of the walls and lockers... as I've said before my friends are the epitome of weirdness... so yeah.. But no, you didn't miss anything.
Aye, that I do! And tomorrow I'm going to be staying home because of the whole 229 School Shooting thing... just because my mom still doesn't trust the school when they say that everything is going to be fine. I don't want to end up with so many holes through me that I look like swiss cheese!  But if we miss another day for snow or something, they're going to start taking off of our Summer Vacation, so we'll be going to school later into the summer.  Something I'm not looking forward to.
Well, I don't know how you do it, but you're the best Beckett player I've ever seen! Although there aren't many, but still! You've got his personality down just right... I honestly think you've got some sort of gift, mellon-nin. Actually I kinda squeed at the end when he was like, "Sorry Jack, it's just good business." It was teh awesomeness! And again you've just proved my point about being so in character... Lol, maybe you should write a book about Beckett! 
I figured as much... I can't wait to see what you come up with!

:dizzy: just got done replying to a few RPs... gotta get my mind back in normal form.
that's a good quality to have. a lot of the time I try (that being the key word here ) to think before I do something... but a lot of the time I don't. what is about lunch time that makes you insane? What is it about lunch at all that's so crazy? never heard of such a thing.
of course... I can't believe they would've actually let it be kept up!
Oh, I was gonna ask you how that went too... no one started killing or anything, did they? It doesn't seem like it or else I doubt you'd be here... but still. anyway, that's smart of your mom! you can't trust the schools for everything... especially when the safety of your child is involved. I mean, if Cole or any of my OCs went to school I wouldn't let them go if there was a chance someone might kill them! bleh, sorry to hear that! hopefully you won't have to do take time off your summer vaca!
now you're just praising me too much... thank you... although yeah there aren't that many Beckett players out there. awww, some sort of gift? that's too sweet of you, Ara!  thank you! I do try my best... awww, now I just feel so "squee"
you squeed at the end in that scene!? the one where Beckett says it before he blows up? I always start crying then... it's too sad. or are you talking about the one where Beckett says "he expects us to honor our agreement. Sorry Jack, it's just good business." now that one IS awesomeness!
lol, write a book on Beckett? hmm, that might be fun... although then I'd have to get Disney's consent and all that.

Aye, I should probably go reply to some things..
Ooh, ooh! Replace 'try' with endeavour! 'Tis more Becketty!  Lunch is just always crazy - probably because it's the only time of day I really get to see all of my friends together at once... it entails a lot of screaming and throwing things... and some really stupid jokes. One time my friend brought a videocamera and taped this guy we liked... and then another of my idiot friends took it and put it on Youtube, but we made him delete it. 
Well, you never know... Duct Tape is pretty! Especially the kind my friend brings in - it's colored! She had teal blue and bright orange. 
No, but it's funny because there was a school in California that had gun threats on the same day! Well, my reasoning was that what if they knew our guard was going to be down, saying everything would be okay and something did happen anyway? I mean, you never know what people are going to do. You can't just say nothing is going to happen, when all along that could be their plan. It's really scary how people think these days.
Squee used as an adjective? I've always used it as a verb... but huzzah That's so squee! [/grammarfreak]
No no! Before, when he says "he expects us to honor our agreement. Sorry Jack, it's just good business." <- That one! Not when he's about to die... that's when I start crying too! It's so sad! You just want to jump into the TV and change everything.

hehe, finally postin' on teh Beckett club... *huggles Beckett* for some reason I feel very Beckett-y at the moment...
 I SO should've done that! It would've been awesome! How come I don't think of Beckett-y things like that? (although at the moment I might... this is totally random, but wouldn't it be great to make a cake and stick some of that edible junk all over it... only the edible junk would have BECKETT pictures on it!! (I actually did that for a LotR cake once. )) hmmm, maybe that is it. I guess I've just never heard of lunch time as being a time to get crazy. but it sounds like fun! Screaming, stupid jokes and throwing things... yeah, that would be great! good for you guys!

Ok, phew, for a second there I thought you were really evil! No, THAT one is a good one! Sometimes I wish though that he would've either turned away and run back to his fleet (although the Dutchman and probably the Pearl could've outrun him) or that he really could've defeated Jack and will! I know, it's sort of strange, but sometimes I do cheer for the bad guys (although Becky's not a bad guy! Never!). like when Anakin and Obi-Wan are fighting in Revenge of the Sith... I ALWAYS cheer for Anakin.
you know, I just realized how HUGE the Endeavour is! Beside the Dutchman and especially the Black Pearl it's just massive!

Hrm, I'm in a Beckara mood.. probably because I haven't done anything Beckara-related for 2 days!
Ooh, a Becky cake?! I want some!  Lol, then you should come to my lunch at some time... everyone is so weird. And one random thing leads to the next... Not to mention the hot guy who's table is in front of ours...
I'm glad it didn't happen at our school, but I can just imagine how terrifying it must have been! I hope those parents don't have to see their children die - it's just not right. No one innocent deserves that sort of thing. It's a shame when you can't go to school safely, isn't it?

No! I'm not evil!! I hate it when it comes to teh Beckett dying... although someone like Jack Sparrow might disagree with that. Or just blow up both ships, even if Will, Elizabeth and Jack get away afterwards... Star Wars? I'm not really a fan of that, but I know what you mean about cheering for the bad guys...
Ooh, I know! And the Endeavour could totally have taken both the Pearl and Dutchman.  I mean, all of those cannons? That's enough to sink the ships... but Disney had to be goody-goody and make the good guys win and have almost ALL of the "bad" [I use that term loosely] guys die... Davy, Norrie [a lot of people think he's bad too  ] and teh Becky... 
It's Lord now, actually. So the book would have to be called LORD Cutler Beckett's Untold Story : The Biography of a Misunderstood Villian.

I know... wouldn't it be good? Although it might hurt me to have to cut him up. I really should... about the time you come meet my friend and spend a night like tonight with us. Tonight it got a little weird too. my friend and I were dancing while we were playing the board game. (and in the real LIFE game the guys always sell their wives and kids off ) maybe not as weird as you guys get though...
I know! Even though it wasn't at your school it's still horrible! Actually when I first heard the news I only heard of a school shooting. I was like "WHERE!!!!" and I was so afraid they would say Pennsylvania... although, as I said before, it's still scary no matter what state it was in. you're right... it isn't. it is very much so... but, sadly, that seems to be what this world is coming to. *sigh*

of course not! yeah, but what does Jack Sparrow know? He was the one who freed all those slaves, got away from Beckett, started a slave uprising and cost Beckett tons of money in the first place. my brother thinks that's funny... I think Jack was just plan cruel. *huggles Beckett* and Beckett doesn't die! That's the beauty of the one fanfic, The Islanders. it shows that there was a way where Beckett wouldn't have to die. *high fives* lol, I'm not much of a fan of Star Wars either. I own all 6 (however the ones with Luke=:yawn:) and I don't mind them... sometimes. I like Anakin and Padme and their tragic story. but I wouldn't exactly call myself a fan.
yup!! And it has soooo many guns, you're right! I should try to count them all sometime... but it is huge! Although the Dauntless is a pretty big ship too. I've seen it up against the Pearl and it towers over it too. yeah, why does Disney have to make the good guys win? although both "good" and "bad" should be used loosely because in Pirates there isn't quite a definite line. blah, Norrie's not bad!!! he chooses right in the end.
Oh, I know... I went back and forth about it and if I should add the lord part or not. (that's another funny scene... when he interrupts Will and Lizzie's wedding is just amazing! It shows his sheer power, cockiness, and calm, cool villainy! as Tom said, "soft glove, hard fist." (I should so copy down all of what Tom says about Beckett! it's quite interesting...)

Nope, 'twas across the States, thankfully. But you're right, either way it's really scary.. and it definitely makes you realize that you're not safe. People can say it's never going to happen, but that's so not true. I don't know why people have to do those things... I mean, all it does is cause more pain, and we don't need any more of that.

Um, nothing? He's Jack Sparrow after all! Peanuts for brains, quite literally. Beckett will never die - he's too awesome for that. How is that funny? Can I slap your brother?  Right, you're totally not a fan... Considering I really don't know who or what you're talking about... I just think Darth Vader sounds neat.
Well, you'd have to multiply that number by 2, because don't they only show the one side of the ship? Well, point is in reality Beckett most likely would have won, which would have made me squee! I mean, they could have had Beckett win and have the others escape into the ocean or something, but they didn't have to kill him - totally uncalled for. Jack isn't exactly an upstanding citizen either.
I know, I love that part! If there's anyone who knows how to crash a wedding... But still it was an amazing way to introduce Beckett... and I loved how he was riding on the standing horse in a rowboat! Brilliant.

yeah, that's the way to look at it. We eat his face as a tribute to him. there's no reason to cry... we're only devouring our favorite PotC character. I wish you could too sometimes. well, we’re not always random. Actually quite a few of us are normally rather smart and quiet... it's just when we've all been together for a few hours and pop and goodies have been passed around it can get random. yeah, just maybe.
thankfully. I know what you mean... people always say "it'll never happen to me" but that's not always true. Sometimes you have to be prepared for the worst... you can't trust everything. and every time I hear/see of someone dying it just makes me realize how fragile life is and how there are things I should fix in my life and that I should be thankful for every breathing hour... because every life is precious. I don't understand some people either. what joy does it give them to kill people? it only causes pain like you said.
Exactly!!! that's what I say too! Peanut for brains! that's great! Nope, Beckett can't ever die... that would be too cruel. I think he just likes thinking it's funny and saying it is to annoy me. what does that mean? I'm really not that big of a fan of Star Wars... I mean, I used to be more into it than I am now, of course, and I still am more into it than you are, but "fan" means "fanatic" and I was never quite that.
I know. although I think there are probably pictures somewhere of both sides of the ship. I was surprised the other day to find the Black Pearl has fewer cannons than I thought it had. Beckett might've been able to... I'm still not sure though. The Dutchman was unsinkable after all. what I've never gotten what WHY IN THE WORLD DIDN'T BECKETT'S FLEET COME TO HELP HIM OUT!?!?!?!!? they could've done that... but then the movie really wouldn't have been finished. I mean Beckett still would've been alive and out for pirate blood. and by then everyone wanted the pirates to win and everyone loves Jack so yeah... Beckett didn't stand a chance against "popular" demand. *sigh*
haha, one of the greatest parts in DMC. I love when he just stands there and looks at Elizabeth... so evil and cunning. lol if I ever have to crash a wedding I want to do it like that! sure it was!!! Having him barricade the port and enter on his pretty white horse in the boat was amazing! T&T did a great job portraying him as a powerful, devious, and proud man from the very start. and that's why they had Becky do half of what he does in the intro, I think. To show that he's powerful enough to stop the Willabeth wedding, to storm onto Port Royal and to take over in the blink of an eye. I just love him!
