It is indeed, although I'm leaning more towards depressing, confusing and possibly suicidal at the moment. 
Oh, I try to begin to know how awesome Ben is. It's so hard not to squee when he appears. 
XD I didn't think anyone could answer them, they were just my ramblings.... I like to ramble about LOST.... it makes me feel less confused and more intelligent. 
Ooooh, we find out about the 6 so soon? Well I'm guessing as well as Kate, Hurley and Jack it's also Sawyer, Desmond and I think Sun. I can't see both Sun and Jin being the six, and what with Sun having a child, I think she'll get off as well. As you so rightly said - that will probably be wrong, as hey, it's LOST.
Hurley needs a hug. Let's all give Hurley a huge hug.
 I'll be watching another one tonight, prepare for more confuzzled JF.

Ah, woe is me. I had to wait until just now to see the latest Lost. My life is way too busy. *shakes head sadly*
Anyway, first things first.

I've missed having a rabid Ben fan around here. Btw, that quote you have in your first signature is one of my favorite ones besides, "Excellent John, you're evolving!" Have you seen that episode yet! *can't wait for you to see it* The Locke and Ben scene is BRILLIANT, yes brilliant I say!! I've watched it at least 50 times on youtube... 
Your questions are ones that I've myself wondered about, wrote theories about, and almost been driven insane over. Especially that one on Abaddon. <i>That</i> guy is going to drive me bloody wonky. All I want to know is he lower or higher than Jacob? Aaaaaaaghjoijhesfjn.
Secondly: I've got to say something. A moment of fangirling if you will.
DANIEL FARADAY IS MY FAVORITE TV CHARACTER EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
   
The end was utterly weird. I mean, of all things, why would Daniel be really attached to Desmond?  That's... odd.
And now time for a little speculation: You know the 'friend' that George said they had on the boat? And the 'spy' that Ben has on the boat? Yknow who I think it is? One hint.
"Waaaaaaaaalt!"
So I have a question for those brighter than I: when Desmond 'recognized' Sayid, did he get his complete memory back? I was abit confused....
The ending was so sweet too.  And Sayid was being so sweet and helpful... which made me sad for him. Knowing what happens to him and all. _________________ <center>

The end totally has totally thrown me for a loop. I've no idea how THAT happenend!!

FM is absolutely right, JF. The coming Ben/Locke scenes will ROCK YOUR SOCKS!!!  Actually ALL Ben scenes will. More than usual.
And although I've never truly hated Ben...he creeped me out at first...but then I grew to like him. Now Ben = <333333333333333

As for the "friend on the boat," I never thought about HIM as a possibility. Hmmmmm. I thought about it when it was first mentioned, but I've just given up. Interesting thought though!!!
And JF, all I have to say is just wait ... a Sayid episode is in store for you. One in which his hair will make your soul melt. Ha ha ha ha. Yes, his HAIR. XD And one that I can GUARANTEE that YOU will DIE at the end. _________________ "So what? So plenty!"

Um, darling, I hate to be the one to break it to you... but the next 3 episodes will only confuse you more. Ah, but that's Lost for ya.
Oh, Daniel is the guy on the end of the first episode who goes "Are you Jack?" And he's also this adorable, insane, zomgawesomeness geek. You're bound to love him. I don't think I've ever fangirled a character as much as I have him... 
Oh yes, and That Quote. Rofl. I also love...
"Better call the boat... tell them she's getting a REALLY BIG bundle of firewood."
"Jack, with your permission I'd like to go with John."
"Well ...technically... he didn't kill her yet."
BEN FOR THE WIN.
Oh yeah, and when I first saw the episode, I noted that I hope sometime in a future episode when Team Jack is being pursued by ignominious bad people, Ben can have a "HA! I told you so!" moment with Jack. That'd just be Too Awesome.

I've been browsing the Lost forums, and the slash people are having a hey-day with Desmond/Daniel. That is just weird people, especially with all the Desmond/Penny emotion we're feeling! Blegh. Besides, Daniel is mine, mine, all mine!!! *clings* _________________ <center>

Although slash doesn't bother me, when there's a relationship so strong between two characters. SO OBVIOUS ... I get really angry when people insinuate such things.

I <i>know</i>! Penny and Des is one of the most obvious ships in the world... probably the most stable Lost ship since Claire/Charlie.
At least we Losties here at AU are above such nonsense.
Oh, and about the boat... well, I just have been convinced that HE didn't get away so easily. I mean, cmon, that was Ben he was dealing with. And Ben doesn't just let people go.
Also, welcome to the ranks of us Ben =  I think more and more people are starting to realize what an awesome charrie he is. I've got most of my friends convinced.
And JF: ditto MB. You will absolutely die (as I did) at the end of the Sayid episode. Prepare to leap from your seat with a whoop upon your lips, a jig in your feet, and a mad grin on your face.

My apologies for the essay that is to be my post, but me and my brother only meant to watch one episode and we ended up watching two......
Confirmed Dead
Holy tomato sauce! My brain has been so LOST-ted I can barely remember what the heck happened in this one. OMG, where to start? The new group is just insane, just a misfit group I can't believe how weird they are. And I can't see how they fit in with anything. And I KNEW, I just KNEW when the skeleton in the desert appeared, I said to my brother "that's gonna be a polar bear" and so it was!?! And the Dhama belt, what was with that? And the fact the English team member knew what it was and knew it was there.... and the fact they want Ben?!  *dies* I just LOVED, LOVED the ending when Ben suddenly started spurting out all the info about the English dude - that was pure LOST LOVE! I was completely on the edge of my seat and I knew LOST was back up to scratch.  *bounces round room like a crazy Englishwoman*
The Economist - AIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! *hyperventilates* First of all...... *HUGGLES SAYID* ..... ohmygosh, I felt so so so so so so so so so so so so, sorry for him when he shot whatsherface. He has no luck with the dames does he? [why is it all the characters I wasn't fond of, redeem themselves when they either kill others or get themselves killed?] You were right Monty about his hair... ... *slaps self* ... he looked so sauve and..and.. un-LOST like... I'm still digesting everything from this episode... my mind is a complete tangle of canon facts and hairbrained theories from me and my brother. How amazingly lucky was it that Ben shot Locke right where he had no kidney? I wonder if Ben did that on purpose.... the dude's like an encyclopedia of all the Losties, so he's know where to shoot. And I LOVED the scene where Locke was giving drinks to Sayid and Ben held his hand up and said "I'm thirsty" and Locke ignored him. XD And the last scene...... *gasp* .... I knew who it was before my brother, I just knew the voice...... how wonderful to see him looking all clean and... un-pulpy.... Amazing ending.
I have decided - I love the flashforward idea, it gives LOST a whole new opening so it keeps it fresh.
Ok, so onto JF's world of theories.......
Well I reckon that whoever Ben is getting Sayid to bump off has something to do with the cover-up that followed the plane crash. The fact that what Sayid is doing is helping his friends, I also think that there are more than just 6 survivors - I think the rest are still on the island and until the people who were in charge of the cover-up are killed, they can't be saved. Although the plane crash was found, it would be easier to say they miscounted the bodies, and that 6 passengers swam to safety, hence why only 6 were rescued. I also don't think Sayid would be killing off people if in the end, doing that would help Ben only (Sayid isn't stupid and he knows how manipulative Ben is) so I'm pretty sure that technically, what he is doing should help clear the mess up. In the scene with Hurley and Jack in episode one, Hurley says they need to go back but Jack wants nothing more to do with the island. I think Jack knows of the plan to get people off the island, and Hurley doesn't. In the last episode of series 3, when Jack is distraught and says to Kate that they need to go back, he is either a) hating normal society of b) the plan that should have got the remainder of the people off the island, has backfired and that's why they need to go back. This scene takes place after the conversation with Hurley, so it makes sense that with time, Jack has changed his mind.
We know that the Dhama group co-existed with the "Hostiles" on the island, but we don't know who came first. When the "Hostles" took over the Dhama group after killing them, they then became the "Others" that we now know. We also know that some of the hatches became abandoned (although there is no proff this happened during the time of the Others). We can only presume that the Others continued the work of the Dhama people (which Ben would know about), else why would the Dhama Initiative send food parcels after all those years, and if they thought their people were no longer doing the job, why would they not have sent out a party to find out what happened to them immediately? I originally presumed that the people on the boat may well be the Dhama people coming to claim back their island, but an event since the food drop must have alerted them that something was wrong. This must have been when the hatch blew up and the sky turned purple. (Even Penny's team in Norway felt the impact). But it looks like the team are nothing whatsoever to do with Dhama, and if they were people sent by those who arranged the cover-up, would not the simplest thing be to kill all the survivors? Whatever they want Ben for he knew all along that when someone came it would be for that reason, and that it would be bad for all.

That probably made no sense, and I'll probably have a whole bunch more ramblings tomorrow....
Time for a Ben dream methinks.

Ok, now I have even more theories.
It's suspicious that Micheal A. (let's call him that for ease of typing) was questioning Hurley about other survivors and he orchestrated the landing of the team to get Ben. It looks like there is a chance that maybe he is working for the bad people who started this whole cover-up and they need to know a) who is still on the island and then b) who left. But if the bad people sent a team there for any reason, surely it would be to kill any survivors so they fake flane crash will no longer be threatened by the real survivors suddenly coming forward. So what if Michael A. is actually a good guy and he knows something is not right and he's trying to find out about it. I don't know why he would want Ben, and I don't think it's for a good reason, (or then again maybe Ben all along has put the fear of people coming to the island into the Losties, just because he doesn't want to be taken, not because any harm will come to them.)
The team people themselves.... I reckon they're there for the island, and I also don't think they know they're true purpose is, I can easily see them not knowing the full plan of their boss.
As for Ben and those passports. It's difficult to say when he last left the island - but either way Juliet has covered for him, or at least not told valuable information - because whether or not he ever left when she was around on the island she must have known he did, because other people must have known it (he can't have been going to Europe and all those other places and not been missed). Which also blows open what Ben said about his people need to know the submarine's there or there is hope or something like that, but they must know there is a way off the island as he has left so many times, so it's not an impossiblity.
I think Ben may have upset someone on the other side, or he's even been betrayed by someone in his group. Whatever the Others and Ben were doing, I think something has changed. I think there's a good reason why he wanted that submarine to be blown up, and I think it's either to stop a traitor leaving and bringing back whoever wants Ben or he doesn't want ever anyone to leave the island in case he's found.
Ok, I'm done for now. That's probably all complete crap, and some of the my theories may even have been shot down in flames in epsiodes that I haven't seen.

Your theories make sense as far as I can tell. I completely agree that the Others are more important to whoever hired Daniel and them than the survivors when everyone thinks there were no survivors. The survivors think everything revolves around them and forget that there were a number of people here before them.
I must admit, I'm not a huge Ben fan, or even really a fan, but I have to admire his character. It is by far the most complex. Plus, who doesn't love great, sarcastic remarks?

Wow JF: you're theories were actually deep and thought-provoking! I'm terrible at theorizing, since mine are always detatched and dysfunctional, a lot like my brain actually. I really enjoyed reading through them... Michael A perhaps being a good guy blew my mind away... but with Lost, who knows?
Despite the fact that I'm very bad at forming them myself, I actually <i>love</i> read Lost Theories on LOST-Theories.com. I came across a <i>really</i>interesting one the other day, which was more a statement of fact than a theory.
It said, when you consider how the Losties treated the Freighties (with hostility and weapons) then you realize that actually, the Losties have turned into the Others! I mean, as in they are acting just like them.
DhamsonRhee: I got cracked up over how you said "Daniel <i>and them</i>." (emphasis mine.) Daniel being the primary one of course...

After that last episode i love daniel. there is so much more to him than the other 3 think...

So, at that point, I just wanted to SLAP JACK for doing that. OH my god. *headdesk* *headdesk*
Had he just HUGGED her, I think I would've been okay with it. Because the hug was sweet. The OTHER thing?! *SCREAMS*
I will agree that this episode just wasn't...up to the par of all the other episodes.
I suppose I could partially blame that on my absolute seething and violent hatred for Juliet. GAH. She's just...*SCREAMS* Something about her just REAAAAAAAAAALLY bothers me. Maybe it's because I think she's an arrogant wench who needs to lay off giving-Jack-puppy-dog-sad-eyes all the time.
*HMPH*
Okay. *takes breath*
I will say that I did like her flashback storyline. It was really sweet. And really heartbreaking as well. As much as I hate Juliet, I felt kind of bad for her. Sort of. And what's with this therapist woman showing up and then just disappearing? WHAT IS GOING ON???
And OH MY GOD!!! BENNNNN!!!! Well, Ben basically PWNED Locke. Mwa ha ha ha ha!
And what's this with him TAPING OVER THE RED SOX GAME??!!! 
I literally gasped at that and said, "You shameful, SHAMEFUL man!" Which is a shocker because I absolutely adore Ben. XD
Okay, I'm getting sidetracked. What was I talking about?? Oh yeah. Ben. Ben and Juliet! Oh my god! Ben with a crush!!!
*SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*
But then when he said, "Because you're mine!" My Ben love kind of went out the window. WHOA. Just a little bit TOO CREEPY! Like, literally up until that point, I thought Ben was the cutest thing in this episode, and then WAM! Creeper.
And YAY!!! for Jin and Sun having like 5 minutes screen time. (At least next week will be their episode methinks!!! )
And poor Kate for getting konked on the head. AHHHH!!! The red haired woman and Daniel went all evil. BAAAAAHH! Except, not Daniel. He was still his sweet self. 
But I still CANNOT get over the whole Jack/Juliet thing. Just makes me GAG thinking about it. I mean, I could've dealt with it better had it been Juliet kissing Jack. But JACK?! What is WRONG with that man?!
*headdesk*
Sorry. As much as I try to avoid shipping anyone with Jack (the obvious being Kate), I am VEHEMENTLY opposed to Juliet having ANYTHING to do with him.
Okay. I just needed to get my rantings out. Not much of an episode in my opinion. But I suppose they needed to give our brains a breather after every other episode being ridiculously confusing.
Did anyone else notice Harold Perrineau's name in the credits of both THIS week's AND last week's episodes??? *giggles* Gotta love the teases that we ALL know will come true. *nod nod*_________________ "So what? So plenty!"

Oh, I like Juliet a lot. And I think she's totally got the most gorgeous eyes ever.
I'll admit I'm not a fan of Jack/Juliet at all, because Juliet is just Jack's fallback for Kate, but I still thought the kiss was sweet.
And Ben was super cute, even if he was a creep. When he said to Juliet "because you're mine!" My immediate reaction was "awwwww." And then it was the whole creep realization. But it was cute. Ben is a cutie, and I didn't realize it until that moment.
