I suppose I could partially blame that on my absolute seething and violent hatred for Juliet. GAH. She's just...*SCREAMS* Something about her just REAAAAAAAAAALLY bothers me. Maybe it's because I think she's an arrogant wench who needs to lay off giving-Jack-puppy-dog-sad-eyes all the time. *HMPH*

I agree. I just think he would be better off with her rather than Kate. Kate's too fickle and would clearly choose Sawyer over Jack. I'm not a big Jack fan, but I feel bad for him because of how Kate treats him, and I think he needs someone more.....stable? Even though Juliet's not....I dunno.

Can't wait! I love Sun and Jin!

An utterly random, pointless observation: the island voices remind me of the Ringwraith voices Frodo hears when he puts on the Ring. I was waiting for some black horses to burst out of the woods and trample Juliet at any moment...

I'm not sure what to think of Juliet. I don't hate her like I hated Ana-Lucia... but I don't really like her either. She confounds me... and for some reason I always get the feeling that she plays mind games just like Ben. That scene between her and Jack... was not right though. It didn't even strike me as a sweet or romantic kiss. She did crack me up when she said, "It's very stressful being an Other, Jack." :D And Goodwin... =[ I always liked Goodwin. It made me upset for some reason to find out JT was having an affair with him...

MB: Yeah, with the therapist woman and all, I was like, "Oh my god, Ben is telepathic!"

And omg, Ben with a crush/infatuation/obsession thing! That was wicked cool. The dinner date scene... I was falling to pieces in envy. Only BEN can go from being almost like a cute, infatuated teenager to psycho possessive man. *huggles Ben* And gee, wouldn't a Ben/Juliet/Jack triangle be just what we need?

Way to go Daniel!! That guy is making intelligence sexy. He definitely did not go evil... he was still all sweet and bewildered when teh redhead knocked Kate out.

Hurley and Sawyer's face at the end = PRICELESS.

And Ben telling Locke that he would need to sit down just confirms my suspicions, I'm 99.9% sure of who is spy is. :) By the way, remember when Michael promised that he would save them all?

But back to all the love triangles... I'm honestly sick of them. Jack... Kate... both of you just make up your mind already! And Claire, for gods sake, what is UP with you just talking about Charlie like he was just some random guy!? :annoyed2:

I agree. I'm sick of them as well. How many more can they put in?
As for Claire, I think she just wanted to prove to Locke that she could be strong and useful rather than a "grieving widow" so to speak. I mean as far as playing an important role in their "community" she really hasn't (please don't get me wrong I love Claire!) She made a fair point though.

*cries*

I have missed so much LOST-talk, I couldn't even talk about the 4th episode which I saw the other night, while it was all fresh in my mind. Serves me right for putting of what I could have done today, 'till tomorrow. :'( *smacks computer*

Ok, well all I want to say about the Kate episode is - that's her and Sawyer's child I reckon and not Claire's. Why else would Jack refuse to see him? I think the fact he is named Aaron is out of respect for Claire's baby and also to confuse us. It might explain the age difference as we don't know how far the flashforwards are into the future. ;)

Anyway, glad y'all liked my theories. *bows*

*SCREAMS*

What's this about Ben and Juliet?!!! :swoon: No, no NO!!! Ben you are wonderfull-ness itself... do not succumb to boring things like love for wenches like Juliet.... think of Annie... or your parrot.. anything.... not Juliet..... :-o :swoon: *strangles someone*

^ I wonder if he knew about Juliet's affair with Goodwin (the dude Ana Lucia killed and who personally thought was a good guy). He must have known I mean.... he knows everything... :teehee:

What's this about Jack and Juliet?!! :swoon: :-o (My god, she's been busy this week). What exactly does this scene entail.... I'm going to be watching this with my brother so I'd kinda like to know what to expect.... :orly: ....

Well, as I said, I don't support Jack/Kate. (Or at least I try not to ;)) :P Nor do I support Sawyer/Kate. :P

HOWEVER, I would rather Jack be uber emo/depressive/sad puppy dog than have Juliet ANYWHERE near him. :yuck:

Has it really? I thought it was just put in there in the episode before this one. But I wasn't really paying attention -- except when I saw Dom's name in the season premiere. :P

HA HA HA HA HA!!! I've never thought about that! But I can see what you mean! :P DUDE, that would've been AWESOME if Juliet was trampled by the Wraiths' horses. XD XD XD

I definately agree. There's just something off about her. Nothing has nor do I believe EVER WILL convince me that there's anything good about her. Too much of a good learner of Ben, methinks. ;)

Their scene together was as you said, neither sweet nor romantic. It made no sense for Jack to have done it. As I said, had Juliet done it, it would've made more sense, and I could've forgiven Jack for being an idiot. BAH.

But YES!!! GOODWIN!!! Goodwin was a sweetheart! I don't remember much of him from season 2...but I think I liked him more in this episode than past ones. :P Although, I think that was the point. XD

*SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE* The dinner date scene!!! OH my god! I was SOOO freakin' giddy! :P He was like beaming with joy and almost bouncing around the kitchen. XD

And yeah, only Ben could do that. :P And STILL have us all love him. XD

Oh my god! I KNOW!! I am REALLY frustrated with Claire. She was only upset when Hurley told her and they hugged. After that it was like she hardly knew Charlie. Which is absolutley ridiculous! :disgust:

*huggles teh JF*

Yeah, WHY Ben chose Juliet to have this insanely cute crush on is beyond me. It's adorable, but I don't really know why he chose HER!!!

But trust us, JF. This episode will have you going NUTS over the utter adorableness of Ben-in-puppy-dog-love. :P

I don't know if you want to know what happens in this episode but it's basically said that Ben DOES know about the affair. I mean, DUH. Why wouldn't he? :P

As for the Jack/Juliet scene...it really just entails Jack being a complete imbecil. *headdesk* I don't really remember what Juliet said before he did it, but Jack basically just grabbed her and then kissed her. And then they hugged.

:yuck: :yuck: :yuck: :yuck:

*sniff*

Thanks, I needed that.

I sort of hoped that it would never happen. I mean, I think it may have been hinted the first few times we saw them together, but then later on as we saw more, things seemed to be different and I didn't think for one minute that Ben had any feelings for Juliet. I mean the girls hardly there one minute and she's carrying on with somone! :eyeroll:

When is Jack never an ibecile? Well if it's a kiss and a hug I'll manage I suppose..... *throws up in bucket*

How many episodes have you guys had by the way? I get very confused what with all time differences and things.

JF: Aww... *pats*

Okay, about 'Aaron'. (minor spoilers here.) Now I'm REALLY confused. Because in a later episode Daniel Faraday (squee!) reveals that time is different on the island than it is in real life. So... time is passing much more quickly on the island than in the rest of the world. (I think it's like the island has half an hour for every one minute in the rest of the world... but I've yet to do the math.) So that episode has to take place pretty much right after they get back to the rest of the world (because Kate is just being put on trial)... so why... ugh... why would Aaron be that old? Do they have like 3 more years on the island? And JF... your theory is very probably... but I think it's Claire's Aaron still. And Jack is just guilty about something, hence what he told Hurley not to reveal.

Beeen knoooows everythiiiiinng. *creepy organ music*

Yeah, Ben definitely knew about the affair. And Juliet is definitely one busy girl in this episode, Jack, Goodwin, Ben... yeesh.

JF: Even though we all don't like the crush because of Juliet, I guarantee it's worth it seeing an infatuated, teenage-boy-crush like Ben. (And then when he goes to super-evil possessiveness, it's kind of hot too.) I was going, "Why is that not ME?" the whole time... because Juliet doesn't even CARE about him. Stupid, stupid Juliet. Anywway... we're all on episode 6, "The Other Woman."

MB: You know... actually... we COULD have Kate's black horse come out of the woods... with Boone's ghost on it's back or something... and trample Juliet to death. Mauaha. And yes, I liked Goodwin... for that matter I kind of liked Ethan too... I like all the Others...

Speaking of, why do you suppose the Others have deserted Ben so fast?? Where ARE the Others by the way?

Oh yes, and the question I've been wanting to ask since I saw it: was Ben telling the truth to Locke? About the REAL bad guy?

I think he was.

And speaking of Jack/Kate, Kate/Sawyer... most of you have been fans since the pilot, right? Well remember when the pilot first came out... and there were all these Sayid/Kate shippers...and he kissed her hand...

Well, I may be an absolutely kook for saying this, but I kinda miss Sayid/Kate. :P It was unconventional and all of course... but I still always liked it.

ANWAY, now that I've rambled myself senseless... let me say this, since we all know a main character will be dying this season... let's all hope it Juliet. :D

You know... I've been very good to LOST.... I've swallowed a lot of things most people would choke on.... I've stuck with it even though I've felt at times like how Karl looked when he was being brainwashed..... I've thrown a couple of wobblers over character devlopements and storylines.....I've even turned a blind idea to some things that border on the hated science-fiction.... but time travel to that degree? That is really pushing my faith to the limit.

It will be interesting to actually hear him say that and how he came to that conclusion - I'm not sure just because the rocket was 31 minutes later than it should have been is absloute proof that the island is 31 minutes ahead for every one minute in the real world.

I can't see there being any reason why Kate would say to Jack that basically the only way she's ever going to see him, is if he sees the baby. Unless it was Sawyer's child and that's why Jack will have nothing to do with him. If that was the orignal Aaron - how are they going to explain a 3 year old baby who was never on the flight? If he looked a few months old, and he was Claire's, then they could say the mother died giving birth, that's how they ended up with a baby. I think he was born after they left the island.

Juliet is a cow. I hate her. I have never liked her. And I hate her even more if she's upset Ben. Just think of Annie, Ben. You'll be fine chuck.

Didn't Ben order the Others to go to the Temple before he went to see Jack? I guess they are still there, as it is the saftest place for them on the island now.

JF: I didn't know you don't like sci-fi! :swoon: I pretty much grew up on HG Wells and Star Trek... so yeah...

Anyway, Daniel just doesn't just state the theory... it's actually proved in episode 5. IT's actually not time traveling per se... more of a tip of the hat to Michael Faraday and his work on electromagnetism... but anyway, you'll find all that out in the next episode. Bad me for spoiling it. *hits self*

Oh, another thought I had about the baby... don't babies concieved on the island generally die? So would Kate be the exception... which would actually be cool... but not make much since.

Right! I'd forgotten about him sending them to the Temple! Someone really needs to make a map of the island so I can keep up with all these locations... :P

By the way, I found an absolutely zany Lost recap site... (actually it's really not a recap site at all, more of a 'let's make fun of the latest episode because we're such huge fans like that') and when an episode particularly depresses me, it always helps cheer me up again. (In fact it generally leaves me in hysterics.)

(Warning: plenty of curse words, insinuations, and other such things that some may find offensive.)

When I say sci-fi I mean things like films that involve travelling into space, or time travel... or the end of the world.... or aliens attacking Earth and things like that.... ;) Technically films like the Invisible Man are sci-fi, but not the type I dislike.

*scratches head* I think that's one of those things that I'll have to see to properly understand it. If there's a time difference though, how can they be communicating with the boat with no delay?

You see I'm figuring that a court case of that size would take a while to organize - and then there's the amount of time all the hype about the survivors from the plane before that. I'm not good at aging babies, but that kid is definitely more than a year old, I would say close to two, but depending on how long they have been off the island, it could be Claire's Aaron... but the fact he is Jack's nephew makes no sense that Jack doesn't want to see him, unless he is actually older than 2 years old and he's Sawyers.

LOL! I feel like that all the time. The hatches really confuse me.

Ooh, I'll have a lookee. :D

Okay, I was reading a magazine, and it was talking about how the reporter went and asked all the cast members what their burning questions were, and Josh Holloway's question was "What's going on? Is it Jack's turn with Kate now?" And I just started laughing.

Just random because I was too lazy to read this whole page.

I'm in the 4th season now. Not all the way into it yet.(Still have a couple episodes to watch), but I just want to say I am going to be mad if Claire gets killed off. We've been told through the whole series she has to raise Aaron. AND Charlie DIED just so she would be safe. He ultimately died for Claire. And if the show kills off Claire, then Charlie's death will have been pointless in my eyes. Because every time in Desmond's flashes, Charlie was dying for Claire. And Desmond told him if he died, Claire would be fine. Did she even get the greatest hits letter yet? So unless Charlie is still alive, the show has some explaining to do. Claire is up there on my favorites list too. It just doesn't add up. Why kill Claire if the point of killing Charlie was because he wanted to saved her?

Charlie was my number one favorite character, so yeah. It is pretty annoying. If they take the reason he ultimately died and throw it away.

Everyone keeps saying that about Charlie's death being pointless, honestly, in my opinion, Charlie's death can never be pointless no matter what happens. Damon Lindelof said ultimately... Charlie died to prove to Lost viewers that Desmond's ability had some validity. I didn't like Charlie's death any better than the next Charlie fan (honestly, I was an emotional wreck for days after seeing the finale... it was horrible...) but I've come to grips that it was necessary to bring in light the seriousness of Desmonds "premonitions" or whatever they are.

Another thing about Charlie's death... he wasn't just dying solely for Claire, in a way he died as the final act of his redemption. To prove himself the hero that we all knew he was. No matter what happens to Claire... the fact that Charlie made an ultimate sacrifice for her can never be lessened by what happens to her.

Of course I shall be severely disappointed if something DOES happen to Claire. It'll probably lower Lost down several notches and destroy what little faith I have left in Lindelof and the other writers/creators of Lost. Of course, they've made mistakes before... big ones (like killed Mr Ek which lost them a good 1/8 of their audience)... but hopefully they won't do anything that stupid.

That's funny about Holloway... that guy is hilarious. I also find it so hysterical/ironic what a great friendship Fox and Holloway have... I mean, I know they aren't rivals in real life, but still, it's just kind of weird, yknow?

Anyway, I'm so ready for tomorrow!! Aaha... Sun and Jin. <3

Well, never in my eyes will Charlie's death be seen pointless.

 Nope. Nuh uh. No way, Jose.

Hands down, Charlie had the greatest, most heroic death of all Lost deaths. Okay, so I may be a bit biased in thinking that. But I honestly think that. (It's hard for me to talk about this, :P, because I think ya'll know how much it affected me emotionally ... I didn't talk about Lost until THIS January)

And IF (it's a HUUUUUGE "if") Claire dies, I won't see it as voiding Charlie's death. Yes, Charlie died in the flashes for Claire, but that doesn't make his "real" death just for her. I think it started out that way, but ended up being for ALL the Losties. :P
IF she dies, the fragile faith I have left in Lost will probably vanish. Unless of course her death is made super important or something, you know? I'm crossing my fingers that they wouldn't kill her off. I don't think it COULD be her, mainly because she hasn't exactly had much ... errr ... screen time. And there needs to be some SERIOUS EXPLAINING to do on her part. There are WAAAAY too many things that need to be explained before she's forced to kick the bucket. (Aaron, Jack being her brother, the "Greatest Hits" list, Charlie's ring...WHY she seems to have just forgotten about Charlie in less than 48 hours :annoyed: ... etc.)

Did any of that ranting make any sense? XD Ha ha ha ha!!

So, to sum up I personally don't think Claire's (possible...in my mind NOT probable) death will not void Charlie's death. :P Quite honestly, as much as I love Claire, if she keeps acting the way she does, I won't mind seeing her "farewell." BAH. Okay, that was harsh. :P

@JF: As for this baby...I am VEHEMENTLY against it being Kate's and Sawyer's. That's all I have to say on that matter. XD

But I agree with you fully on one point. JULIET IS A COW. (Great word for her. Although, many more profanities come to MY mind. ;))

ANYHOW,

UBER EXCITED for tonight! *SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE*

And bah, lucky people who get to watch it tonight!

Ick, I'm always on the other side of the fence from you guys.

I think that Claire is going to die (I don't want to say hoping, but I'd rather if she was gone), but there needs some serious explaining to be done.

And I love Juliet. I think she's great. Not a fan of Juliet/Jack AT ALL, I'm a fan of both Skate and Jate, but seriously, I'm a big fan of Juliet alone. Haha, I can understand why all the Ben lovers hate her guts though, considering she tried to kill him...
