I'm about halfway through Sydney White and the Seven Dorks.

"She doesn't even know who Gandalf is?"

"Can we request the Dr Who soundtrack?"

ROFL... *keels* Oh man, I LOVE this movie. The dorks whatever are so amazing... woohoo, geek power! Lenny (Sneezy) and Embele (Sleepy) and George (Dopey) are my favorites... George is so cute. I love the part where Prince defeats them in that fantasy video game... Prince is really cool too. I've GOT to buy this movie...

Enchanted - awww, it's almost even better the second time around! what a sweet, feel-good movie. :) And Amy Adams is a pretty good actress... ;) although now I've got the songs stuck in my head... :headwall:

"Harvey"

"Years ago my mother used to say to me, she'd say, "In this world, Elwood, you must be" - she always called me Elwood - "In this world, Elwood, you must be oh-so-smart, or oh-so-pleasant." Well, for years I was smart... I recommend pleasant. You may quote me."

Normally I'm not one for happy movies that leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside but... I love this one so much that it isn't even funny. Jimmy Stewart's performance is, as always perfect.

Maybe in the end it is better to be pleasant than smart. Life would be a much nicer experience.

OH, timx4, I LOVE that amazing movie. Elwood P. is just a wonderful character, and entirely likeable.

"And they come over... and they sit with us... and they drink with us... and they talk to us. They tell about the big terrible things they've done and the big wonderful things they'll do. Their hopes, and their regrets, and their loves, and their hates. All very large, because nobody ever brings anything small into a bar."

...
Just finished the end of Sydney White... computer hacker = love. Although that fact that she got hacked was most certainly not love... but anyway, delightful movie. "It's just you... and you dorks." Me: Well huzzah for dorks!! The world would be a sad place without them...

There are 3 of them? I only saw the first one, which was entertaining.. are the same actors in the sequels?

Phonebooth - brilliant movie, Colin Farrell is lovely and the plot twist was very good :)

The first half of "Atonement"

That was... excruciatingly boring. I really only watched what I did because my mother wanted to "bond" with me. How you bond with someone while watching a movie is beyond me. I left about halfway through because I realized that doing my homework would not only be more productive, but also might actually be more entertaining.

I Am Legend - the family and I just got done watching it. And I must say, it was a pretty good movie. suspenseful... and there was more then one time when I wanted to break down and start crying (his poor little doggie!). :( it was sad, but really good. ;) Will Smith is amazing!

^That's the opinion my mother had too. I would read it, but I just don't have the time.

"Drillbit Taylor"
I was reluctant to go see this, but I was bored on a friday night and it turned out to be REALLY funny. The part where Drillbit was talking about how some guy attached dynamite to puppies during World War I, calling it "Da hounden stormen," had me dying of laughter.
