The Amber Spyglass: One of the best books I have ever read. I don't care what anyone says, Philip Pullman has talent, and i believe every word that he writes.
The Book Thief: One of my favorite books. I finally bought myself a copy, rather than constantly using the librarys. Markus Zusak has a true gift, and this book makes me rather emotional.

The Giver was one of the last books I had to read for school that I actually liked. So much, in fact, that I ran out and read the other two and then started dancing around the room when I read in Messenger Jonas was alive. Then I went back to school and told my English teacher, because he didn't know about the sequels. That was very satisfying, I must say.
Anyway, I'm currently trying to finish Bella at Midnight by Diane Stanley. Significantly below my reading level, but it's a good story, and I've never paid attention to reading levels anyway.
