(Jane Austen) Sense and Sensibility Vignettes by JA35 - G - based on the new 2008 BBC version
(Jane Austen) By Halves by TheGreatSporkWielder - PG - suggestive/implied material; don't read if you hate Willoughby as much as I do, 'twill save you much heartache

Does everyone write fics and not read them, or what?

Makes me feel like we're the only ones nerdy enough to spend day in and day out reading fanfiction.

Could you send me the link to the Colonel Tavvie fics, JF? FF.net doesn't exactly have a very good selection of them.

Sorry for getting back to you so late... thanks for the info! FF.net doesn't seem to have many good Tavvie fics.
By the way, for anyone who cares, I'll probably update my earlier post soon with a splurge of LilyxSeverus fics that I've just finished reading.

Here are a few:
(POTC) The Last Farewell- By meowbooks- PG- Norribeth/Willabeth http://meowbooks.livejournal.com/44641.html#cutid1
(POTC) The Island of Lost Maps- By inaforest- PG to PG-13- humor, some Jack/Norrington physical intimacy implied
http://community.livejournal.com/jackdav/140822.html
(Crossovers) The Web of Darkness- By Soledad- PG-13- Crossover of LOTR and R.A. Salvatore's "Dark Elf" series. The main character, Drizzt Do'Urden, is transported to Middle Earth early on in the War of The Ring.

I wanted to give the link to a post-LOTR fic I read sometime back, but all I can remember is what it was about . In it, Legolas, after attending Aragorn's funeral with Gimli, begins to think it's time to go to the Undying Lands, but he's still hesitant to do so because Gimli will be left alone, and he himself still likes Gimli's company. So he decides after his ship to travel to the Undying Lands is finished, he'll try to get Gimli to go with him.

Oo, that sounds like a fantastic LotR fic! I'm always searching for good ones like that. Do you remember if it was on FF.net, Livejournal, or some other source?
Blargh. I still haven't updated. *writes on to-do list*

I think I found it in War of The Ring.net's fanfic section, but when I looked for it there the other day, I couldn't find it, so I figure it's on Fanfiction.net or some other site like that. I didn't think to put this in my original post, but the title is some form of "The Last Ship Sails", if I remember correctly. That might help, but I'm not sure how much . I'll keep hunting for it, though . I'm sure there are fanfic sites dedicated exclusively to LOTR, so I'll check on some of those.
Quote: Oo, that sounds like a fantastic LotR fic! I'm always searching for good ones like that. Yeah, it's a wonderful one :') . Rather sad and angsty in some parts, but that just made it all the more touching .

Sorry for the double post, but I think this thread needs a bump. No better time than now since I've just updated my original post.
