John Tucker Must Die - :P I was bored and just flipping through the channels... and that movie caught my eye (although I have seen most of it before). I did watch bits of LotR here and there... but it frustrates me to watch it on tv because of the commercials. ;)

I flipped back and forth between RotK and Empire Strikes Back.

Then I watched the last hour or so of Forrest Gump.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street - well, the acting was extremely good… I’ll give it that. Bravo to Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp! And the overall plotline wasn’t half bad (there was more going on with his daughter and all then I thought there would be by all the trailers)… JD singing? Well, I thought he did a good job. :P And from the very start you could definitely tell this was a Tim Burton film... Not that that’s bad... it’s just his style. :P Lol he did an amazing job with it, I think… all the characters and such were pretty good and some of the songs were great. So overall, I must say even with the demented darkness and depression of it, it was an alright movie (the ending was slightly unexpected though... I thought it might be... happier? lol). But I do see where there could have been a moral in the story... even though it left you wondering who was the real bad guy. (besides the judge that is) And it left you feeling slightly bad for Todd... eh, it's not exactly my cup of tea, but I wouldn't mind seeing it maybe once more now that I know what's gonna happen in the end. ;)

^ I'm glad you got to see it PD. Personally, I thought the ending was one of the most awesome endings I have ever seen - a happy, fluffy ending would have completely ruined the feel of the film. I am so glad we didn't see Antony and Johanna sail away happy ever after - and that it ended with Sweeney and his true love, which is basically, what it was all about.

I would have loved Sweeney to have got away with it as well, but I actually am happier that he died as it made the film so much more better.

^ That seems mighty strange watching the 3rd and 6th Star Wars films. :P Urgh, Sense and Sensibility. *wishes she could strangle Marianne*

Adam's Rib - Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy. :notworthy:

[After losing the attempted murder case, which his wife won by convincing the court it was justifiable, Adam threatens to shoot Amanda and their neighbour until he hears her say that no matter what she thinks she agrees with him, that no one is above the law]

Adam: That's all I wanted to know. [puts gun into his mouth]
Amanda: [screams] Adam!!
Adam: [takes a bite out of gun] Licorice. If there's anything I'm a sucker for, it's licorice. [smiles]
