It would be SO wrong if Claire got killed off. For many reasons. It hasn't even been 15 episodes since Charlie's death. I mean seriously. Sure, he sacrificed himself for everyone, but mainly with Claire and Aaron in mind. We've been told throughout the whole show, Claire HAS to raise Aaron. Plus the whole Greatest hits situation, AND the whole Jack/Claire sibling situation. Too many things need to be resolved. Claire is the best girl character on the show, IMO. Kate gets overly annoying with her whole "I like Sawyer...Wait, Jack...No, Sawyer." plot that NEVER ends. Sun and Juliet just aren't as interesting. It seems we know more about them. Claire is needed, if you ask me. I hope she just ends up staying on the island, not dying.

Wow, it's been a month already? Can't wait till next Thursday.

So true!! argh, the whole reason Charlie sacrificed himself was because he thought it would give Claire and Aaron a better future. If they take that away...I don't know what I'll do. Plus, it really hasn't been that long. It's like with Charlie gone, the writers decided they had nothing better to do with Claire anymore. Which is just stupid.


Agreed. I don't think they could cover all of that stuff in one episode. Plus, I really want Claire to show some serious emotion over Charlie's death. I've been disappointed so far. It's possible they can cover for it...perhaps with the discovery of Charlie's ring/letter, the truth will finally hit Claire and she will break down. That would be wonderful.



Haha...totally agreed on the Kate thing. She's annoyed me from the first show I saw. It NEVER ends!!
Juliet is fairly interesting, but not likeable. Sun is interesting as well, and fairly likeable, but she doesn't have the same sort of sweetness and average-ness that Claire eminates.
They could do a lot of good things with Claire's character. I liked when they had her step in to talk to Locke. Any expansion of her character beyond the girl-with-the-baby is welcome. Because even though Aaron is a vital part of her character, it isn't all there is to her.
I would prefer it is she stays on the island, not dying. But death is usually not preferred by me.

(Except in Juiet's case, maybe. I don't hate her or anything, but it seems like that's where her character is naturally headed, and I have no problem if it's done well in the right time.)

I'm glad you said that about Juliet, Rin, because now I don't feel so bad about saying it about Claire.

I know I'm the only one who thinks so, and all have you have made very good points as to why she shouldn't be killed off...but for some reason, my opinion hasn't changed. Something about the way the writers have portrayed her (or not portrayed her) since Charlie died...I think it's all pointing to her death.

I don't agree with the way her character has been portrayed (again, see Rin's post), but that <i>is</i> how it's played out...it's only a matter of time before she's taken out.

I actually thought Juliet was going to be the one to be killed off until the whole Karl/Danielle scene.

It seems all Kate is used for is the whole love triangle, I really wish she would just pick one of them so we can all move on from basically the most annoying plot in the whole show. Charlie/Claire was a breath of fresh air from that annoying love triangle, but Charlie, of course, had to be killed off.

Kate should start liking Ben and leave Sawyer and Jack alone for awhile.

...Just kidding of course. Ben+Kate=Disturbing.

Anywho, they better not kill off Claire. Nuff said.

Well, we know the people from the freighter that were "shooting things" when Michael caught them doing it are the ones who attacked Danielle, Karl, and Alex. The guy who has Alex in the trailer was the person shooting on the boat. So it wasn't the others, and most likely wasn't set up by Ben.

Gosh I wish next Thursday would just come already. I'm getting impatient!

That would probably be resolved in a Danielle flashback, let's hope we still get one. I watched a podcast for tomorrow's episode and they said Danielle's fate will be revealed then. And whether she is killed off or not they plan on telling her backstory, which will probably include the disease...

That episode was awesome. So much action, so much going on....Everything. I didn't expect Alex to die at all, what a shocker. Danielle wasn't seen in this episode so the chances of her being alive are really low. I'm just shocked they killed Alex right after Karl and Danielle. IMO they need to lay off the deaths for awhile, or they are going to lose some fans. Alex wasn't a "favorite" to me, but I hated to see her get killed off. And Ben wanting to kill Penny?! An even bigger plot twist. I bet Desmond won't be very happy though. I wonder what happens to Desmond later on in the show....

Are Danielle, Charlotte, and Miles good or bad? They seem to want to help the Losties, but they don't. Like, Daniel saved Desmond, but he just lied to them all. Only his plan backfired thanks to Bernard. Hmmm.

Jack getting sick is another interesting twist, I wonder how all that is going to go down. We know he doesn't die though because he gets off the island.

And Ben controls the Smoke Monster? I had my suspicions about that but it is finally nice to figure that mystery out.

I'm glad Claire and Sawyer made it through the Barracks attack, hoping they make it back to the beach in one piece. I don't think they would kill one of them off right after killing 3 other characters. But then again, I didn't think they would kill Alex.

And the reason Sayid is working for Ben is now out in the open. And I guess Sayid has a perfectly good reason to be teaming up with Ben.

And who else caught Claire saying Charlie's name when Sawyer rescued her? I think we are going to see her real reaction to his death soon enough.

Widmore "owned" the island?

I can't wait till next Thursday. I must see what happens!

I loved Alex! She was so much like Danielle: rough, kind, caring. I sat with my mouth open the entire commercial break. I think Ben has a right to go after Penny since Widmore crossed the line. I don't like it at all though. Penny and Desmond are like my favorite couple!


Of the 3 of them, I would believe that Daniel genuinely wants to help them. After the code thing, however, I'm starting to have my doubts. He's more devious then he lets on. I'm starting the like Miles more though...And I still hate Charlotte.


I was really hoping this was going to be the disease that killed Danielle's crew, but Juliet said apendicitis...which is an interesting twist considering the boat doctor is supposed to be dead and the only other doctor around is sick.


Why not? Either him, Jacob or the island control everything.


I think the way Sawyer got worried about Claire was so CUTE!!! His character has completely turned around, and I personally love the new Saywer. I don't think that was the best time to head back to the beach, and the preview confirms that. And I absolutely LOVE the Hurley-Sawyer relationship!! (and I don't mean that as it sounds ^^ out of the gutter now)


Ben's totally using him. Poor Sayid probably has the worst love life. But I though Nadia was dead. Wonder where he found her....

This was a true Lost episode. I swear to you, full of SO much. WOW! YAY for Lost! I mean, everything was there ... and LOTS of explaining was done! And the smoke monster made an appearance. HUZZAH!

ALEX!!!! *screams* Oh my god, THAT I absolutely was NOT expecting. And quite frankly, I wish it hadn't happened. I ADORED Alex. Oh my god. NO!

Now, I KNOW Ms JF is going to be SOOO overly ecstatic when she sees this episode. SOOO much Ben. OH my god. YAY! Even though it was really depressing with the fact that Alex is ... well, yeah. Ben is SO much WIN!
When he was in Tunisia, and he just kicked those guys' asses. XD HOTNESS.

And then SAYID! *SQUEEEEEEEEE* Oh my god, HE FINDS NADIA?!!! And then... Wow. How utterly depressing. I LOVE SAYID.

SPEAKING of Sawyer. Ya'll have mention how much WIN Sawyer is lately. I noticed that in this episode. First of all, I find Sawyer MUCH more tolerable when Kate ISN'T around and/or Sawyer isn't "pursuing" her.
I just LOVED how concerned he was about Claire. OH my god, he called her "sweet heart"!!!! *SQUEEE* AWWWWWWWWW!!! Total win in my book.

BUT DUDE. I love how in the previews for tonight's episode it was all Hurley saying "We're all gonna die." And it turns out they were playing RISK!!!!



Hurley + Aaron = *SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*

And although I liked Sawyer sticking up for Hurley and all that (and I like that their relationship is getting better) but NO ONE can replace Charlie for Hurley. So don't even think about it Sawyer. XD

Also, the fact that Claire survived in a house that EXPLODED makes me think she is going to be alright for awhile. I could be wrong, but I hope I'm not. I don't want her killed off. They just killed Karl, Alex, and most likely Danielle. They need to give the character deaths a break now. I'm upset they killed Alex and Danielle. Danielle was trying to get to her daughter throughout the whole show and when she finally gets to see her, they don't get the scene the plot deserved and both characters die. I still love the show, I just think that is a bit messed up. But hey, there is still a little hope Danielle will show up again in the future.

Anyways, Perhaps the island is keeping Claire alive...That was one pretty big explosion. I hope this is the case. They must not kill off Claire...Or Sawyer...Or Desmond.

It's kind of funny how most of the talking about the show is about how we hope they don't kill characters off. Kind of shows they are going overboard with the deaths if you ask me. Charlie dying set up that I do believe. If they killed off one of the most popular characters that a lot of people started watching the show for. They'll kill off anyone.
