Grease. I haven't seen it in so long, and I love that movie! The reason I watched it, actually, is because we're singing 3 songs from it for my spring choir concert

The 2005 films version. I think the BBC version is more faithful to the P&P book BUT it does have an extra 4 hours than the film, so it's bound to be more faithful. I think that's why with S&S some of the scenes have been re-shaped, so you're getting the same story but in a quicker, easier way.
Up In Arms - OMG! If there was ever a reason why I loe Danny Kaye this film is it. It's stupid, it's fantastical but it is oh, so funny and he is hilarious. They seriously don't make funny films like this any more.

Ironman.
Not as terrible as I thought it was going to be. I actually discovered the extreme love I have for Robert Downey Jr.

"Iron Man"
Tar, I agree with you. I wasn't as bad as I thought it would be either. It ...Was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The first act played out like a really good, almost non-superhero war drama and the second half was pretty much on par with Transformers. Robert Downey Jr. was perfect for the part, and his really dry sarcasm was immensely entertaining.
Also, the Iron Man suit is positively the sexiest thing I've seen in theaters all year.

His Girl Friday - I've always been somewhat disappointed with this film. It is very good, and in some parts as perfect as you'd want a screwball comedy to be, and in parts Cary Grant is the best he has ever been, but the switching between the comedy and the serious, just doesn't work. The two overlap, and sometimes you want to stay in the drama (like when someone tries to commit sucide by jumping out of a window) but the characters completely disregard that and go back to being funny, whereas I wanted some emotion and sympathy from the characters. I think it would have been better to decide whether it wanted to be satrical, comedic or dramatical. Being all of them, just doesn't make the picture gel.
