Deawen nodded but said nothing, she glanced down at Arwen, she could tell Arwen did not understand why Deawen feared the water.
after a few minutes Deawen came down from her limb and climbed into her saddle, without a word.

Arwen stood alongside the horses, ready to start running again. She smiled up at Deawen who had climbed into her saddle, then turned her head towards the direction they would go in.

Anira crossed the river with ease using the rope. In all her long years, she had not too many negative experiences with water that would spark such an intense fear. Giving Deawen an understanding smile, she quickly remounted her stallion and awaited the order to move out.

Arwen nodded. It was cold, especially after wading through the river. However, her personality and background denied her the choice of shivering and not persevering, so she set off after the horses again.

The five rode, and in Arwen's case, ran, until nightfall. Then, Turaithion gave the word to pitch camp "The danger is greater here. I will take the first watch" he said, stringing his bow and strapping on his quiver

Arwen sat down on a rock, yawning slightly. "Very well then," she said. She rubbed her hands together for warmth. Her skin was even whiter from the cold, but she smiled with determination. "Shall I make up a fire?"

Arwen disappeared into the woods to fetch the firewood. She came back a while later with an armful of logs, carrying them into the camp. She laid them down on the ground. "There," she said. She knelt down on the earth to try and kindle a fire.

Turwaithion pulled uot a map and studied it. "Perhaps we should ride North. If we find the dwarf road, then we could go underground straight to the edge of the mountains of Mithrim. Almost to the Fen of Serech itself." he sat in tought dor a moment, then shook his head "Dimbar is safer. Neldoreth provides shelter, and perhaps the Marchwardens will direct us to a path through the forest. Perhaps even Gondolin. Arwen, what do you say?"

Arwen paused, deep in thought. "The safest road that has less chance of an ambush is the best choice, obviously," she said, waiting for the fire to spark. "The decision is up to you." She drew back a little from the pile of logs to pull the hood of her cloak up on her head. "Goodness, it's freezing."

Turwaithion dug out a blanket fom his saddlebag and handed it to the younger elf, smiling "Here, take this." he said, sitting down as Deawen took the watch next "We keep on our present course, then. We will arrive in about ten days. It is two hundred miles to the edge of the Mithrim, tewnty five miles a day. We will have about a day crossing the Mithrim, then we will enter Dor Lomin."
