it's very well written, despite the fact that it promotes polygamy.
i can't wait to get more backstory on some of the characters, like joey and wanda.
SOMEhow, i ended up missing the last 3 episodes of the 2nd season. 3rd season is under production!

Apart from the fact that I'm pretty sure we don't get the channel it comes on (HBO?), the plot/etc kind of scares me. Of course, all the multiple wives stories vaguely freak me out.

Then again, living in Texas where the polygamy scandal stuff is happening doesn't help.

I'm actually fascinated by this show. My parents and I are slightly addicted. I actually can't see how it promotes polygamy, to be honest - I sure don't watch it and go "Gee, I'd like to be a polygamist." The tension is something I'd never want to live with. But yeah, it's extremely well written.

However, here in behind-the-times Canada, the first season finale was about a month ago, and the second season will be starting up probably come October. So I should probably make myself scarce for fear of spoilers, heh.
