I like Susan when she believes in Narnia. When she "grows up" and stops believing, that's when I don't like her anymore. I get that she's a rational/logical person, but come on.

Susan just represents most people in this world who have turned their back on God, unfortunately.
but I never liked her much either, and that wasn't the reason.

So, I'm enforcing my Founder/Psuedo Wanna Be Mod status and I'm just gonna ask that while all this discussion about Susan is lovely, can we leave religion out of it please? Yeah, I realize the series has overwhelming religious themes, but not everyone reads them for that. Especially me. It's just not appropriate on AU. Whatever Susan's reasons for not believing in Narnia any more may not necessarily represent the same thing for everyone.
So, let's keep the religion to a minimum if at all, okay? I'm really sorry for being all "GRRR." But, I gotta be...can't let anyone get offended.

It was a statement, not meant to cause offense, and personally, I don't care if it offends anybody because I'm offensive because of my beliefs.
for those who've seen PC, did you think that Ed had a bigger "hero" role than Peter? Like maybe he was put in more of a spotlight than Peter? I think so, especially because of his stabbing the White Witch in the back *or rather the sheet of ice she was imprisoned in*; and he being the better brother of the two, which in LWW, I really didnt' like Ed but in PC, I thought he was awesome.  I can't wait to see him in more of an "adult" role if HHB is made; skandar will be in an interesting role.  _________________

Wow, Ali’s banners are WONDERFUl… ahem, like usual. this makes me rather ashamed of my own graphic dedicated to this club. But here it is…

Personally, even if this is the Edmund fan club, I must say that Susan used to be my very favorite (now they’re all almost tied ). I can relate the most with her, really. And personally I do believe she comes back to Narnia after LB… after loosing her family like that I doubt she would be quite so conserned about the silly things anymore. At least I would hope not. I do believe she comes back... going along with a religious theme like what Petra said. about Christians who could be led astray but come back before the end.  I think that would be what Lewis might've been shooting for... sorry, MB, I just had to say that really quick....

Petra, actually I thought in PC Peter and Edmund had more of an even "hero" role. at first Edmund is kind of the bigger brother, but by the end I thought they evened out quite nicely. and I loved that scene where Ed stabs Jadis! Even though it was different and it wasn't in the book I thought that part where he got to "kill" her was brilliant!

Whoo, welcome SG! I was wondering when you'd pop around, what with your awesome sig and all I knew you had to come by sometime.
That is an interesting thought, Ed being more of a hero. Hmm. I have to say, he does seem more of a hero than the others. Yeah, stabbing Jadis was priceless. Poetic justice.

As for Ed being more of a hero, well I guess I'll have to see PC to see how they handled it. But I really agree. I mean personally I thought he did some heroic things in LWW. But I do remember in the later books he really matured and was a lot more "big brotherly." If the makes any sense.
