Family Guy as well. I only caught the end of it however, and it had something to do with Peter and Brian going back in time to 1984. :erm:

Royal Ascot

I do love watching my posh horse racing. :P Even though I am not girly, I love seeing how well (or in most cases how bad) people dress, and having James commenting on them all is the cucumber on the posh sandwich. :D He really is my hero for being outspoken about things. And the whole list of do's and dont's for Ascot is amazing. The cardianal sin is taking ones shoes off no matter how much your feet are killing you. :P The list is <a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/other_sports/horse_racing/7456280.stm" target="_blank">here</a> if anyone wants some culture. XD

And yay for my second (and even bigger) SQUEE of the day, Aidan O' Brien for being the trainer of a horse (called Yeats after the Irish poet) for only the second time in Ascot history, to have won the Gold Cup three years in a row. And at, 7 for being the oldest horse ever to have won. That was an amazing race, and it was so nice to see Aidan smiling and looking almost comfortable (I think he is very shy actually).

Ah, 'twas a good day, what with <a href="http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://bp0.blogger.com/_lzjPmEhGIYE/RbIiHjaywNI/AAAAAAAAAIc/39DElz7FCis/s320/IMG_74171_7.jpg&imgrefurl=http://contessanally.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html&h=320&w=213&sz=23&hl=en&start=1&um=1&tbnid=zUkq1YNjREohtM:&tbnh=118&tbnw=79&prev=/images%3Fq%3Djames%2Bsherwood%2Bascot%26imgsz%3Dsmall%257Cmedium%257Clarge%257Cxlarge%26ndsp%3D20%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26rlz%3D1T4GGLJ_enGB268GB269%26sa%3DN" target="_blank">James</a> and <a href="http://parisparfait.typepad.com/paris_parfait/images/2007/08/29/horse_trainer_aidan_obrien.jpg" target="_blank">Aidan</a>.

^ Aww... I enjoy watching horse-jumping competitions. Racing is fine too, because those horses have to be insanely trained. And oh the poshness xDDD Brilliantly English that is.

Psych - I finished the whole season. In a week. FINALLY! :P

I must say that this is even better than LOST for me. Because I love that kind of humor - dry, sarcastic and smart mouth. Plus, I cannot resist a good murder story, and its one of those shows which is full of 'em.

^ I like watching anything pretty much to do with horses.

Royal Ascot

*sobs* Only one more day left now. And then no more James and no more Aidan. :-( He is such a lovely, polite man, there was a fairly long interview with him today and he went to see the Sound of Music with his family last night (4 kids and a rather severe looking wife :yuck:) and he was amazed at the talent and how the stage changed and everything.... I don't think he's used to big cities living in the middle of the country in Ireland. ;) *sigh* Oh, well I'll just have to carry on dreaming about him then. XD :D

Mwa ha ha ha! JF is gonna love me for loving Ian so much like this...and yet hate me that I'm watching yet another British show....on PBS!

Oooooooooooooooooooooooh, Ian narrating something.... muahuahuha... we had that in the UK years ago.... but I never saw it. :-( He should narrate more things with that gorgeous voice of his. Almost as nice as Aidan O'Briens. ;)

*needs to find the pic she posted so she can view his wonderfullness before bed* :P

Yeah, I looked it up to see what year it was from. And it was like 2005 or something. :P STILL, 'twas Ian narrating with that unreal voice that is just SOOOOOOOO..... Mwa ha ha ha! He should do audio books. And it took me completely off guard when I heard him talking...I just kind of stopped. And was like, "WHOA. Hold up now! Is that..is that who I THINK it is?? AHHHHHHHHHH! It is! Ian McKellen!"

Yes. Show us a picture of this person you keep going on about. Especially for us wee Colonials who aren't priveleged to such things like the Royal Ascot. :P

EDIT:

"Swingtown - Double Exposure"

OOOH. This was a REAAAAAALLY good episode. SO cute. And I'm still jealous of that girl's prof. HA HA HA!

Oh, but Jack Davenport's hair FTW!!! *SQUEE* :P

And the writing on the walls. But teh video camera!! SCANDALOUS!!! :-o

Gossip Girl - I decided that since everyone I know in LA and in Switzerland was watching it, I would give it a shot. I HATED it absolutely. Its too nasty-girl and romantic tragedy 5th Ave. NYC style for me. Gimme LOST any day. I dont much like bad drama. Its just not my thing.

@ Monty - SQUEE! Jack Davenport!!! :swoon: OOoh, yes he should do audio books. I would buy them no matter what. :P I posted this the other day with muchos Ascot info and piccies. :D Ok, so Aidan's not absolutely gorgeously handsome, but there's just something about how he is, that makes me want to squiggle hug him.
