Belgarath the Sorcerer - Rereading Eddings... I always enjoy the humor of his books - Slightly sarcastic but genuinely funny. Highly recommended ^_^

The Host by Stephenie Meyer.
Bought the book over a month ago, but I confess that I haven't been reading much lately.

My little brother reads the Percy Jackson books, and he's managed to rope me into reading them as well. I must say that they are pretty good for kid's books, particularly for me, since I love Greek Mythology. I don't think he knows the fourth book is out though. I'll have to tell him.
I finally caved and got Twilight by Stephenie Meyer from the library, just to see what everyone was so crazy about. And I have to say that even though it's almost disgustingly exactly like some teenage fanfic you'd read on the internet... I think the fact that I read 286 pages of it in one afternoon means that it's good enough to keep me interested. I suppose I'll add it to my list of things I'm ashamed that I sort of like in spite of myself.

Isn't it, though? It's kinda scary. I'll agree with you about it holding your interest, though. I didn't find it an extremely brilliant book, however Not worth the hype, for sure.
Currently on The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan, because I figured it was time to reread Wheel of Time.

Melda my love I admire you for managing to read them. And then REread them I read the first three pages two years ago in boarding school because my cousin was really into them and her and a friend were always trying to explain it to me because Im a good sport for book discussions. So one rainy day during exams I decided to start reading. I riffled through the book and got worried, but read three pages. That far in and I was asleep Im not giving them another shot. Too lazy.
