Turkish Delight is loverly....but I could see how you'd get sick of it...it's SO sweet. just one or two pieces at a time, thank you very much.  it must've been awful for Skandar to film that scene...he said he had to eat, like, 19 pieces 'the size of my fist.' I would imagine he ate it again, though. I mean, he did grow up (most likely without it, I doubt they had any in Narnia after the witch left) and so by the time he got back to England he would've gotten over the connotations and such. At least, that's my opinion.
Aww, this talk of outdatedness and such is making me sad. :sad: But that's why we're here! Cause it's the cool people like us who make movies live on after they've been out for five years. Take LotR, we all still celebrate it every year with Return of the Rings and balls and such. So never fear, it won't completely be gone! as for Edmund though... well, I like the idea of him being so sick of it he never eats it again. I really do.  but maybe Nurr's right.  after all that time away from it and being a king in Narnia and all he could've forgotten about it more and maybe he did sorta feel like eating it when he returned to England. I dunno though...  I think if it was me I still might be wary of it. but that's just me... I guess we'll never know.
Gilly, hmm, that is true, people normally do start liking movies again when the come out on dvd.  So PC has at least one more hurrah. *sigh* but it's still sad and annoying that fickle people move on so quickly...  everyone needs to love PC like we do, I think.
Padawan, but how could you help it? That sounds like a brilliant poster! maybe you could buy one though... I've got a poster from PC that I finally found at K-Mart. Tis right above my bed...  lol
I know, fickle people have always annoyed me when it comes to moving on. It's like the instant the movie's in the theater it's old news. it's so annoying! I don't know why more people can't be like us. *pouts*
Too true, Nurrshey!! A toast to us cool people who keep these movies alive!  WE won't let these movies go! Even if we are called dorks for it.

I dunno... I mean, Turkish Delight was one of the reasons he betrayed Peter/Susan/Lucy and Narnia/Aslan. I think he'd remember that and not touch it again the rest of his days.
