I think we all remember the old orginal Disney movies...like Bambi, Pocahontas and Lion King...
What is your favourite movie...and your favourite song? And what do you think of the new movies...like Arielle 2, Tarzan 2....?
Well, for me, I don't like the new movies at all. They have a lack of the feeling you get from the old ones...also the songs have kinda lost their meaning.
My absolute favourite is the Hunchback of Notre Dame. I just love it. It is so deep...I always need to have a break after the first song...it makes me too sad...it is just so emotional...
The Bells of Notre Dame

God help the Outcasts
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MEEpavnk ... re=related
Close your eyes...and enjoy it...feel the magic within the songs...
Well...what is your favourite movie? And your favourite song from it?

Hmm... I'm a sucker for the princess movies.
Sleeping Beauty is probably my favorite.
I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream...
More recently, Mulan. Oh and Lion King is freaking awesome.

I love old school Disney. Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, Pocahontas, and even Mulan are my favourites. Other ones that come to mind are Peter Pan, Hercules, and the Little Mermaid. Disney really had some amazing movies back in the day, and I'm sad they haven't had anything very amazing since, except maybe Wall•E which is supposed to be pretty good.
Has anyone heard about the newest Disney princess movie due out in the next year or so? It's supposed to feature the first African princess and involves a frog. I really hope it has the same Disney magic the other princess tales do. And it's in 2D as well!!
*sings* "Tale as old as time... song as old as rhyme... Beauty and the Beast."
*dreamy sigh*

^^ Yeah. You can search ''Future Disney Films Thread''. There is plenty information about Princess and the Frog and other future films.
I love Disney. All of its films, except many live-action, and those silly sequels. But I'm sure Disney can change, this year with Wall.E and in a few months with Bolt. And good news, the sequels are cancelled! Except Little Mermaid 3, that's out in August or September, not sure.

Dude, I've been wanting to have a Classic Disney movie marathon in SUUUUUUUUCH a long time!!
Hands down, my favourite goes to Peter Pan.
*SQUEEEEEEEEEE*
Then it goes to Mulan...which, yeah is a more recent one...but whatever.
Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, 101 Dalmations, Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Cinderella, Pocahontas...
I miss the magic of the old classics. I mean, I love some of the new ones. Like Finding Nemo and the like. But, yeah there was just something lovely about musicals and 2-D....maybe it's nostalgia or maybe Walt Disney knew what he was doing.
As for songs, I have many.
Probably "Poor Unfortunate Souls" from Little Mermaid.
"Cruella DeVille"
"I'll Make A Man Out Of You" from Mulan.
Anything in Beauty And The Beast.
And anything in Mary Poppins...while a live action, I still consider it to be a classic Disney!

Thanks for the info on The Princess and the Frog FaeEowynTonks. I'm really, really excited for it.
I'm really skeptical of Bolt right now. It's got Miley Cyrus involved and I fear they're using her to generate most revenue instead of using the films assets.
Right now I'm positively in love with the prince from Beauty and the Beast. I dunno why really... he just strikes my fancy I suppose.
Favourite songs right now are -
"Be Our Guest" - Beauty and the Beast
"Beauty and the Beast" - Beauty and the Beast
"Honour to Us All" - Mulan
"I'll Make a Man Out of You" - Mulan
"Once Upon a Dream" - Sleeping Beauty
"The Virginia Company" - Pocahontas
"Steady As the Beating Drum" - Pocahontas
"Just Around the Riverbend" - Pocahontas
"Savages Part 1" - Pocahontas
"Savages Part 2" - Pocahontas
"Colours of the Wind" - Pocahontas

Wall-E is Pixar. Does Disney have anything to do w/ Pixar? Sorry, that's kind of random.

Amen to that!
Dude, how weird is it that I think a cartoon character is hot??? Gotta love Disney!
As for Pixar/Disney, didn't they have like a falling out and are like separate now or something? I don't really remember the details...didn't pay much attention. XD

Oh, I think the Disney "Princes" are hot.
Prince Philip (*sigh* )
Prince Charming (Cinderella's prince)
Prince Eric (although the more I watch TLM, I think he's kinda lame)
Aladdin (maybe?)
Shang (even though he's not a prince... *fans self*)
Haha I like when Shang starts training camp and takes his shirt off... Mulan is like Wow.

Mulan was the greatest
I also used to really like the Lion King... I was such a huge fan, I had all this merchandise. And Dumbo, lololol.

@ Eäryendë: Yeah, actually, Disney bought out Pixar about a 2 years ago I think.
Mmm... Disney princes... I love'em all except Aladdin. He's not technically a prince and he just doesn't tickle my fancy.

Aww Eric's my favorite prince. That movie had a nice balance of heroic prince and female power. At least I think so.
I'm a sucker for old disney animated movies. My top favorites are Pocahontas, The Little Mermaid, and Muppet Treasure Island. Extending further: every Muppet movie, The Lion King, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Mulan, every princess movie except Snow White.
Favorite songs:
If I Never Knew You, Colors of the Wind-Pocahontas
Part of Your World, Under the Sea, Kiss the Girl- TLM
Whole New World- Aladdin
Aladdin's Getting Married, Out of Thin Air-Aladdin & the King of Thieves
Beauty and the Beast -Beauty and the Beast
Something Better, Professional Pirate, Cabin Fever-Muppet Treasure Island
Home - Beauth and the Beast Broadway
Her Voice, Good Times Back, If Only- Little Mermaid broadway
