Now, the cookoff is over. I have counted up 90% of the stuff... so I should be able to work on the site more now.

(Oops, i posted my last post w/out reading the last page.)

Which section of the site? Well, i think at the moment i'm going to work on putting some of my poems and banners up, if that's alright. (One thing i should maybe mention is that with freewebs, we only get twenty free pages--i found that out when working on my site.) It's great to have us in Google, tho!

Edit: This is a lot more complicated (in a wonderful way, mind you) than my site, so i'm a bit confused about what i should do to get my stuff on there. If someone could help sort of explain it, that'd be great. Once i understand, i'll probably be able to do it, but first i just need to understand. ;) Also, I've posted a link to FM on my site (Woven of Dreams), so at some point that could be added as an affiliate by me or someone else.
Question: I noticed that on the banners page, there didn't seem to be any "by so-and-so," and i was just wondering if we wanted to let viewers know who made the various banners and stuff. Anyway, just thought i'd mention that.

Should we edit our site? We have a lot more than 20 html pages.

Saira is feeling like a loser and wants to give everyone a big hug. Today she must pack and argue with her father would how he is not packing properly and stay up till 2 am only to wake up two hours later... Traveling is ALWAYS like this in my family :P So. She shall not get back to her lovelies till the 29th. I wanted to say thank you to everyone, for being a little piece of my online family :)
Hugs to all! :hug:
Saira

I've never heard about the 20 pages limit, so perhaps it's only for template sites?! I've about 30 pages on my portfolio site but I've never had any problems with freewebs because of that.

Okay, Eariel, here we go:

1. Log into freewebs.
2. Go to: Edit my site (upper left hand corner)
3. See the file "poetry.html"? Left to it there is an edit symbol with a pen. Click it. A raw html file will open.
4. Scroll down... Almost at the end, it says "Currently under construction". Delete that sentence (only the sentence!!) and add your content. Note: You always add content between the tags
Code:
 <div>
and
Code:
</div>
.
5. Choose file>>save. There you go! You can view the edited page by clicking on "poetry.html"

This is not as complicated as it sounds, just go ahead and try! For any questions, feel free to contact me.

It's a good idea to add the names of the graphics artists, only I guess it will be quite complicated to add names to every single piece of art... whatever you prefer, though.

And Eariel, I added the link to your site on FM.

Not Rome. Cabella Ligure. Damn the internet for not letting me get away. I had to come back to do all the cook-off judging -grumble-

From all of this, I am not sure how many people are going to volunteer for the judging next year.

That would depend on where they are in the year.

Alot of Frodo graphics were made, though.

To the first, I have over 50 pages on my site and haven't had any issues so far. I'm guessing it's only for the templates?

To the other. We could put a little thing on the media page saying how the art was made by these people or such.
