Radiel awoke by the sound of someone approaching. She rose from the ground, having many thoughts racing through her mind. What is happening? she thought to herself.
At once, she heard a voice behind her: "Now, what would a young girl your age be doing all alone in the outskirts of Minas Tirith? You must be lost..."
"My business is no one's but my own. You, however, seem to have little idea of where you are and what you are doing." she said coldly, turning around. She immediately gulped as she learned she had a sword pointing at her throat.
Radiel, you fool! she thought.

Airain smirked at her.
"I have little idea of where I am? Now..I highly doubt that. I believe it's the other way around, since you have no idea what you're doing exactly. Tell me, girl, did you come from the City of Kings?"

As night dawned on the travelers they came to a stop and the carts were parked in a circle to provide some protection against the wind. They lit a fire and sat around eating, smoking and drinking and sharing stories.
Rinkemen sat next to Borum and the elf sat next to him.
"Well tonight is a fair night indeed, not too cold. I think we have made good time, we are only about four days from Rohan."
He began lighting his pipe.
"What do you think Borum?"

Borum blew smoke in the air.
"Agreed... and we can keep the same phase since four days is no problem unless we get a hole pack of warqs after us or more... but I highly doubt that..."

Radiel stepped backwards, glancing at her pack on the ground.
"I make a point in not giving information about myself to strangers who are pointing a sword at me." She attempted to hide her fear, somewhat succeeding.

He smiled and finished his drink. He slowly rose to his feet and looked down at Borum.
"Can i have a word?"
He walked over to the outside edge of the circle of carts over the noise of singing and the merry talk of the dwarves.

Borum followed burning his his pipe at the same time and walked to him.
"What is it? The new companion of ours? Is this what thia is about or what?"
Borum asked looking pondering and looked back at the camp towards the newest member of their caravan.

<<Kca.. haven't had any time for this RP, sorry..>>
After the girls left, Liran got up and stretched. Carefully putting his flute away, he left the courtyard and started walking through the city again.
...
As the sun started sinking over the mountains, he found his way back to the market where the farmers who had given him the ride had left him in the morning. They were getting ready to head back home, packing the cart with provisions for the village, things that could only be found in the larger city.
"Want to come with us again?" they asked, "we've plenty of room."
Liran politely declined. He liked this city, and would try and stay a while longer. Wandering around some more, he found a nice and clean looking inn, and stepping through the door, sat on a bench on the side and waited. Later in the night, he would show his talents.. but for now, he watched the people coming in and out and lost himself in his thoughts.

Rinkemen stopped and looked at the dwarf, pulling out a letter holding the seal of the king. He sighed.
"You wanted to know my reasons for traveling with you? Well i can give you the bare details, for that is all i am willing to share with you. The rest of the information you can find when we reach Rohan..."
He stopped and stared towards Minas Tirith, something caught his eye. He turned back to Borum and continued.
"There is a new threat to Middle Earth. A army of evil men sailed into the Bay of Belfalas about 4 days ago. I travel to Rohan seeking their help in stopping this threat early. As i said the other information is to be told to King Eomer and him alone as stated in my King's letter."
He put the letter back inside his pocket.
"I thought you might like to know"

Borum began coughing suddenly and took the pipe out of his mouth.
"And you humans think you can deal with the threat on your own? hmph... you would probably leave us dwarwes out in the darkness in the matter, if it wasn`t for me traveling with you... but do you think our newest companion would have anything to do with the matter since elves are no fools..."

He shook his head and looked over at the elf.
"I doubt anyone really knows about this new threat. My lord Aragorn has only just caught word of it."
He looked back to the dwarf.
"Keep this information to yourself. I don't want to spread panic amongst the people."
He began to walk to the fire but had a quick glance behind him towards Minas Tirith, something had caught his but he didn't let it show. He went back to the fire and joined the talking.

Rhavaniel sat naer by the fire, ears picking out snippets of conversation. She closed her eyes, then stared into the sky.
I'm bored. I've been bored for so long now, so long... Should I nick something? Nah, better not. Dwarves are just so picky when it comes to their possesions... And anyway, I thought that I had stopped all that nonsense. Especially after...well...best not think about it really...
She pulled out her sword, and set to polishing it, and soon after a while argueing happily with a dwarf about their women.

Airain gave her a rather sardonic smile as she said this.
"Ah yes, I am pointing a sword at you. You obviously have not forgotten this point, but you have forgotten that it would be wiser to tell me who you are since I do indeed have a sword to your throat."
Airain moved behind the girl, keeping the blade of her sword still on her throat. Once Airain was behind her she grabbed a small pack of the girls that was lying on the ground with her free hand and opened it. She reached her hand inside and came out with a portion of food. She looked at it for a moment before tearing off a piece of it with her mouth and dropping it back in the bag.
Airain moved back in front of the girl to face her. She grabbed her by the chin and looked her in the face.
"Not a scratch on you.." Airain paused for a moment and sniffed at her hair. She drew back and laughed.
"You must live in Minas Tirith. You have a good life there, no? The question is, why are you all the way out here when you obviously have everything you could ever want back in Minas Tirith. You're wealthy, aren't you?" Airain stepped back, still keeping her sword on the girl's throat as she waited for the girls answer.

Borum cursed to himself and muttered something in his beard before returning to the camp fire where he continued burning his pipe.
"Just when you thought that the trade routes were almost safe..."

After a restless night, Rowen was awake before dawn. Her dreams had been troubled, and she had no desire to stay in bed any longer. She had chosen her course of action; she would go after her friend.
Throwing necessities into a weatherbeaten haversack, she tried to prepare herself for the journey ahead. She found it impossible.
"It's madness, utter madness," Rowen whispered darkly, rolling up a woolen blanket and adding it to her load. She was not equipped for a journey outside the city. I would rather learn about a journey than go on it myself! This is a fool's errand. But the thought of Radiel alone beyond the walls of Minas Tirith was troubling enough to set her resolve. She would go to her friend.
Rowen went over the list of things in her bag silently, trying not to wake her sister, who slept peacefully on her pallet in the corner. She glanced around the room, searching for anything that might aid her; at the last moment, she thrust a small book into her bag and left the room.
She hated the thought of stealing food from her parents, but what could she do? Her savings amounted to little, and she might need it along the way. She stuffed three small loaves into her bag, but at the thought of her hungry twin brothers, removed one of them and set it back. Adding a packet of oatcakes, four apples, some hard cheese, and a skin of water, she sat down at the table to write a note.
This was the most difficult writing she had ever attempted. She carefully printed a few choice words, apologizing for taking food and a blanket, promising to come back as soon as she found Rowen and could convince her to return...she signed her name and rushed to the door. Her family might wake at any time. She hesitated for only a moment, then walked purposefully down the street.
When she reached the main street, she began to walk in the direction that would take her to the lower levels, and then eventually the gate; but then she thought better of it. She knew perfectly well that she had no idea where she was going. Radiel could be anywhere in the surrounding lands. She resolved to find the one who had brought about all this trouble- at least she would have an opportunity to acquire information before she left.
He must have stayed in an inn somewhere, she thought to herself as she passed through the nearly empty streets. Now and then she saw a woman fetching water or gathering herbs from the small gardens that so often grew next to the stone walls and houses. She smiled and waved, but her insides churned; she felt as if she were deceiving everyone she acknowledged along the way.
As the sun rose and more people appeared on the streets, she began to ask as inconspicuously as possible for the one she sought. She found him sooner than she’d expected; apparently his music was fairly well known. Nervously approaching the inn, she steeled herself and walked up to the bartender.
“Please, sir, I’m look for the young man Alyan; he is staying here?â€

Radiel kept an icy glare at the stranger. Her fear was almost gone, however, it was replaced with anger. "My father is a guard of king Elessar." She said, keeping her eyes still on the hooded person. "I do indeed have a sword to my throat, but I fear not death. However..." She said, pausing for a moment. "If death be my fate now, so be it. Only, I would not want to be the one to be hunted by guards for the rest of my life." She took a deep breath. "I would be more careful if I were you."
