YES! The Mists of Avalon... I've been wanting to re-read it for ages now, and I was actually at the library last week to look for it but I couln't remember the author and then I got distracted by the general book heaven and returned with a pile of books - and none of them of Zimmer Bradley...

if you like action thrillers, or political thrillers, you'll definitely like rosenberg's books. One warning though: the last book *Dead Heat* gets kind of graphic in violence but that stuff is kind of splattered throughout the series. Copper Scroll is more like a National Treasure-read, but the stuff he wrote about is actually true. *the Temple treasure hidden under the Temple Mount in israel, etc...*
I guarantee you, the books will frighten you because Rosenberg wrote that there was an attack on 9\11 BEFORE it happened. He wrote that Saddam would be out of Iraq BEFORE it happened. He wrote that we'd go to war with Iraq BEFORE it happened. He wrote that Yasser Arafat would die *or leave office* BEFORE it happened....and the current stuff with Russia? well, that's in his books too. *Rosenberg's a Christian writer, and he's taken this stuff from the prophecy books of Daniel and Ezekiel. Thing is, this stuff is starting to come true.* I was really hesitant to read them, but I thought they were well worth my time, even if you're not into Christian stuff or political stuff. *granted, some parts are a little boring, but how can you not like a guy's writing when he blows stuff up????* lol. ok, I'll shut up now....

I just finished reading the Jungle by Upton Sinclair for school, and it was...awful. Oh man, I've never struggled so much through the book. It wasn't a hard read, it was like "life sucks, life sucks worse, stereotype the Irish, life sucks WORSE, shove socialism down the reader's throats!"

I really shouldn't've put it off. It was rather heavy reading and I was quite confused by all the Indian names and the constant barrage of Hindu folklore.

Mere Christianity by CS Lewis.
Oh goodness he's such a brilliant writer! It's even more obvious when he's writing non-fiction than fiction, I think...

Lewis really is a brilliant writer. And yes, I agree with you, much more with non-fiction. We spent most of last year doing a Bible study with Mere Christianity at my youth group, and I enjoyed every word of it. Amazing book.

^Man, A Tale of Two Cities is so amazingly slow. Full of symbolism though.
