Midira watch the others argue then settle down then debate on what to do with little interest. she smelt the fire and she didnt' like it but everytime she spoke up with this company she got beaten down. she followed silently she felt her ferrets wrestle around in a pouch she patted it and sighed.

Vasa eyed Meleth for a moment before quoting her, "Somewhere where there's not quite as great a chance of being stabbed or devoured in our sleep. I'm sure you agree?" Before she went off deeper in to the wood to see if the air was clearer down there.

Meleth scowled darkly and followed. She did have a sense of humor and might have grinned wryly at the irony at one point in time, but she did not appreciate her opinions thrown back in her face at this particular moment. She walked in stony silence, followed by the twelve elven warriors, who were smiling discreetly to themselves.

"Which, the water, the ruin or the venison?" Meleth queried. "I can't say I agree with you about this place, it doesn't look to be particularly fireproof. Unless, of course, we all wanted to douse ourselves with water and hope for the best."

Meleth turned and quickly relayed the orders in Elvish, pointing out spots in the trees that provided particularly good cover. The twelve scattered, and she turned with glittering eyes. "Let them come."

Vasa enjoyed action but being bait wasn't all too appealing. She held her knives ready and waited for the first moron who thought that he could beat her, to come.

The first warg came, snarling and prowling, yellow teeth bared. It didn't move to pounce, just circled around them.

Meleth moved in, slashing the warg open across his shoulder but not killing him. She sprang back, knives scything, out of reach of his three-inch claws, glancing back to make sure the elves behind her held their fire. She did not want them giving away their position so soon. Meleth watched it circle, knives held steady, ready to dive in for a kill.
