^ Agreed... and I don't think I'll be kissing any real boys for another four years or so.

I think I'll stick with kissing my guinea pig on his cute little nose. I too still have a while to go before I'll be kissing any boys.

LoL Aer, is that your own frog or was it just a random picture of a frog? It's adorable!
I used to love those really wee frogs when I was a kid (the ones who are only about one inch in size)

Ohhh, at the Girl Scout camp I used to attend there was place by the lake that you could always find these miniature frogs...they were literally less than an inch from tip to tip. So cute!

I love frogs... well, partly because my sister hates them so I torment her with them.

Me and amphibians tend to leave each other alone. I will catch the occasional toad though, but all in all I prefer snakes. Not to catch out of the wild, because I don't want to get bitten. If someone else has already caught it I'll hold it. However, it wasn't this way in my younger days (I sound like an old lady ). I was probably seven or eight when my brother collected that bunch of baby garters and put them in a pail. I was afraid to even poke a stick at them! In the end, I conquered my fear enough to actually poke the stick at them and was astounded when they didn't bite the stick. In about ten minutes I was reaching back into the pail to catch a snake to replace the one I had just put back. [/reminiscing]

^ That's not pathetic. I myself pick worms of driveways and put them back in the soil after it has rained and they have all wriggled their way onto the asphalt. I don't touch the worms though. I get two pieces of paper and use one piece to get the worms onto the other piece. If you couldn't tell, I'm somewhat squeamish.

^ I don't mind snakes, beetles (LOVE beetles), bugs, spiders, or frogs... but I cannot STAND touching worms.
It's disgusting.

I can pretty much tolerate any garden creatures or insects, except slugs. >___>;; I had the unfortunate luck of stepping on one while walking around barefoot in my backyard this past summer...'Twas a very disturbing experience.

Eeeew eew ewww... yeah, slugs are gross.
I have a t-shirt that's got a slug on it and then a huge X through it and it says "Slugbusters Seattle." It was my mom's when she was my age...
I have very good memories of going out in the morning with my gramma with a thing of salt and killing them.

When my mother has trouble with slugs, she baits traps for slugs with beer. "They attract the slugs, the slugs crawl in, they drown." I don't know why the slugs like the beer though. It stinks to high heaven and is almost grosser than the slugs themselves.

Salt is fun. You can watch them shrivel up and die.

Slugs are not harmless if you have a garden. They destroy plants that make flowers and food. I can understand your feelings though and I don't kill them myself and won't when I have a garden.
I have a question. Do you swat flies? Because I don't and it would be nice to find another person who literally "wouldn't harm a fly."
