LoL I'd say the majority of the members here are actually Christian. Us Pagans (as well as Atheists and Agnostics) are the minority
I'm so happy for you Aerlinn and Mrs.Haldir that you have found your path (or that you're at least on the road to finding it). I'm sure that whatever you decide on in the end will be the perfect choice for you
Blessed be.

Thank you, Eru. The path is still new for me, but, I will continue to walk that path to learn more about it, and myself.

That's fortunate for you... pretty much everyone that I know in RL is Christian/Catholic... I only know very few other Pagans so I'm classified as some sort of freak
Quite used to it though

well that's quite different where I live. Most people my age that I know are atheists. So I'm the exception.. but I don't really talk much about religion anyways, especially because my best friend is Turkish and it would probably end up really nasty.

Diddo. It's the same for me. I don't know any other Wiccans personally so I do feel like an outcast and don't really know where to turn to continue my learning.
I feel ashamed that I have to keep it a secret just because I have a Catholic mother and I don't know she would react to it. I'm too afraid to tell her. She has excepted the fact that my younger sister is Atheist, but I don't know if she would except a Wiccan daughter. The only time I feel like I can get away with it and feel at home is when I go to Salem, Massachusetts where the population of Wiccans/Pagans and Witches are in large numbers. Of course, sometimes Christians there stand on street corners and rant on about Jesus and tell us that what we are going is a sin and we need to turn our lives over to him or lest burn in hell. No one really listens to them anyway.
I have nothing against Christians or Catholics, (I have no choice since my mother's side of the family is Catholic) I would like to offer a hand in friendship and not let something as silly as spiritual beliefs get in the way of it but some just cannot except it. The only thing I hate is when they try to shove their religion down my throat.

Shoving any religion down anyone's throat is never the best way... but somehow ppl never understand that. It just causes more rebellion and stubbornness.
But i guess ppl who love you get scared that other paths arent as great as theirs or something and do the shoving cuz they care. this is a very touchy and complicated subject.... i hope whatever happens, happens for the best.

I just feel fortunate to live in a country where spiritual beliefs and religious paths are considered private business and where it's impolite to ask people what they believe in (unless you've gotten a signal that the person likes to share his beliefs or lack thereof you just don't ask as it really has nothing to do with you what he or she beliefs).

Goodness! It's been nearly two months since the last post. Anyone think of anything interesting to discuss since then?
So...the pope...

What? White is always very fashionable... classic colour...
Anyway, since you started it... let's talk about fahion... or rather what people prefer wearing when it's hot.. or not... (ok, I just said not, because it rhymes on hot... ) like when it's summer!
I'm very fond of anything that reaches down and covers down to my knees like jeans or skirts, or alternatively skirts that are shorter but can be worn with leggins under!! And I'm definitely not a sandals or open shoes kind of girl... it's too un-practical..
So like my preferred clothing suggests I like temperatures between warm 20 and 25 C (68-77 F)... perhaps with a cooling wind once in a while so I can even wear long sleeved shirts!!

i don't understand why so many people wear flip flops (since we're talking about summer clothes). Those are the most painful shoes in the world!

You think so? I thought high heels were the most painful. After all, aren't flip flops like slippers? O_o

I don't really like flip flops either...it's just that I walk/run/skip/whatever so much that it gets annoying to have that thing between my toes all the time. I usually just wear slip-ons or sandals or something of the like....

Flip flops always hurt me so I just stopped wearing them.. must have been some 15 years ago or so
I dislike Summer as I hate hot weather. I can't wait for Autumn so I can wear my hoodies again!
