I'm not big on cheerleaders. Too much like drill team. Those that can't dance... (sorry, drill and cheerleaders)

Well, becoming an English teacheris an entirely different matter than a cheerleader. It is sensible to judge jobs by what they do - cheerleaders wear barely-there clothes, jumpa round, and scream, ahile teachers have to know a lot and be smart. From different points of view, either can be bad.

I agree with you, Kit.
I think everyone had a dream job in her childhood that she may not regard as realistical one day. But nevertheless it's a dream and thus a goal that may motivate you to work very hard for something and make you learn to work hard for future goals. I don't like people who ridicule others for their personal dreams, as it can hurt you quite much depending on the peoples' comments.

I personally wouldn't mind being a cheerleader if I had 1) the physical attractiveness for it, 2) enough self-confidence to prance around and cheer people on, 3) the physical endurance to all types of weather.

Now, the cheerleaders you see on TV may or may not actually be an English teacher, community leader, a massage therapist, or even a pharmacist. Cheerleaders are one of the most stereotyped groups of people just because of what they do.

Cheerleaders are just like the football players, they only really cheer during the football season---they don't cheer everyday or shake their bum the first minute they get up. Cheerleaders are paid a hefty amount, but not that much. It is possible that some of these girls have stable jobs and careers the rest of the year when they're NOT cheering. Yes, they do meet to practice and try to keep in shape but they don't revolve their whole world around cheering.

I like the idea of cheering. I like that even if their team is down 20 points in the game, they still cheer. They support their team, they try to rally up the spirits of the fans.

Being a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader isn't the ideal STABLE career, but as something you can do because you enjoy doing it. If my best friend told me that they wanted to become a NFL cheerleader, I'll support them. I'll tell them to go for it (and advise them to pick another career if being a cheerleader doesn't work out), I would never call them stupid because of it.

My cousin is a cheerleader and she is one of the sweetest people I know! I've learned not to judge all cheerleaders based on the stereotype that's out there. My cousin is also really really smart and down to earth. So not all cheerleaders are bimbos.

However, there are several cheerleaders at my school who totally fit the stereotype of cheerleaders and are the biggest, snobbiest brats at school. But that's only a couple.

Cheer leaders *snorts*. At my school they're a punch of stuck-up snobs. I'm sure there are nice cheer leaders out there, just not at my school.

*Pops in* I'm back, and greenly themed!

Anyway, what're we typing about? Cheerleaders... I see. We don't have any in our school, so I wouldn't really know much about it.

No cheerleaders? Wow...I guess in some ways you're lucky. :-P The whole senior squad quit this year because of the coach.

Oooh. Not so nice. I just find it slightly alarming that the 12 year old cheerleaders at my school wear these ridiculously-skimpy outfits. *sighs* Grade sevens...

You and I are exactly on the same page. And I have performed with the cheerleaderas at our school, they are all bimbos. I think that is a statistical impossibility.

aww, poor you *gives drewkid a cookie*

So how about a new topic?

1.Do you like your type(curly, wave, straight etc.)?

2.If you could have any type of hair, what would it be?

I like my hair type only if its long, its wavy, but their not small waves, so if its down to my back its nice.

Dead straight, but then i would be able to do anything with it... O_O oh well.
